  1. I get bra ads too but not tena products, even google knows that there are plenty of people already taking the pi55 out of me.
  2. Nice, nothing like a bit of filth on a Friday afternoon.
  3. The album that really got me into Zappa, after hearing bits that my brother played was 'Broadway the hard way' - recorded on Zappa's final world tour - the most accessible Zappa I've found, if anyone fancies dipping their toes into a wonderful but vast canon of work.

    3leaf GR2 help

the problem could be that you're running an active bass - they have a wildly different impedance than passive basses, and some pedals just don't play well with them - looking at you ZVEX Wooly Mammoth - have you tried running a buffer e.g. a Boss pedal in bypass mode in front of it, or trying it with a passive bass?
  5. Price drop bump - now £35 posted to mainland UK address.
  6. Curious choice of pup positions- rickenbacker ‘oof’ from the neck, but I’m a bit worried about how the bridge pup will sound.
  7. Last ‘recent’ song I heard where the bassline hooked me was ‘Don’t Start Now’ by Dua Lipa.
  8. The gold standard of BPM is staying with it, knowing where the ‘one’ is and looking good whilst doing it. pick any two.
  9. Does it come with ‘fighting drummer’ - the one that kicks off when playing Stones covers?
  10. This. Others have reported very good things about the TC Electronics MojoMojo pedal on bass, so that might be a good place to start. Up at the other end of the budget spectrum the BJFE Blueberry is a wonderful piece of kit too.
  11. Might not be the drummer’s fault; how many times have you played ‘Brown Sugar’ and locked in with the drummer, only to have the guitarist rush the rhythm part? my answer is ‘all of them’.
  12. This thread is worthless without sound!!!
  13. Ain’t no mountain high enough - Diana Ross etc...
  14. I’m in the same camp as a lot of you; loved Ride the Lightning, Puppetz and Justice, but after that they sort of lost me. I find myself listening to Hardwired and (to a lesser extent) Death Magnetic and miss the bass. Cliff’s playing and writing was superb, and elevated Metallica to a level above their peers. It’s always been James and Lars’ band though, and Cliff’s death just made it even worse.
  15. Maxwell Murders. Top that bad boy!!!
  16. Louis Armstrong. As far as I’m aware he was never any sort of weightlifter.
  17. Samples bump - it’s slightly more versatile than this, having 3 different sweep times available, but this gives a good idea of the kind of sounds... https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/uJRPeSTkWeSgNmJK9
