  1. Oof! So, to sum up: oof! 😮
  2. Best jazz I ever played was a Blade.
  3. Björk’s Biophilia album. 🥰
  4. Ain’t no mountain high enough - Diana Ross etc...
  5. I’m in the same camp as a lot of you; loved Ride the Lightning, Puppetz and Justice, but after that they sort of lost me. I find myself listening to Hardwired and (to a lesser extent) Death Magnetic and miss the bass. Cliff’s playing and writing was superb, and elevated Metallica to a level above their peers. It’s always been James and Lars’ band though, and Cliff’s death just made it even worse.
  6. Maxwell Murders. Top that bad boy!!!
  7. ‘Ugliest woman I have ever seen!’
  8. Louis Armstrong. As far as I’m aware he was never any sort of weightlifter.
  9. They’re really not!! 😄
  10. Samples bump - it’s slightly more versatile than this, having 3 different sweep times available, but this gives a good idea of the kind of sounds... https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/uJRPeSTkWeSgNmJK9
  11. What?!? The Pistols rehearsed?!?
  12. The simplest way to do it is a DPDT (double pole, double throw) switch. It has 6 lugs: 1 | 4 2 | 5 3 | 6 2 and 5 are connected to the toggle lever, so when lug 1 connects to lug 2, lug 4 connects to 5 - this leaves lugs 3 and 6 unconnected. Same thing in reverse when you flick the switch - pin 2 connects to pin 3, and 5 connects to 6. Snip the wire from the crossover to the speaker in two - you now have 4 loose ends... Connect the 'Live' wire from the crossover to 2, and the 'Ground' to pin 5, then connect the 'Live' speaker cable to 3, and the speaker 'Ground' to 6.
  13. it's just a switch job - nut make sure that the switch is rated to carry the amount of juice that you'll be putting through it. Impedance wise it's a moot point, as the crossover inside the cab will effectively eliminate any change in the load that the amp sees.
  14. Chunk systems Agent 00Funk. Love it!
  15. TUNE!!!! 🙂
  16. I recognise that sansamp clone layout- it’s John K’s layout (John Is a huge contributor on the diy pedal forums) and it’s superb. I notice it has the upgraded opamps too; sansamp use the humble TL074, but John’s layout has TLC2264s. If I hadn’t just finished making one I’d have had this! GLWTS
  17. Annie wants a baby - RHCP
  18. Is it even still working?
  19. Lovely fingers, bitsa Jazz/Stingray hybrid fretless (usually), pedalboard (mostly bypassed) DHA VT1 EQ. iEMs. not used an amp for too long. ☹️
  20. Spotted this the other day and though if this post - a BMC for £75. Definitely worth investigating.
  21. These are really good, I bought one for my fretless Jazz and liked it so much I put one in my fretted jazz as well. I might even put one in my P...
  22. Solid state drive and lots of fast RAM (assuming he’s using plugins) are an absolute must. There are modifications you can make to Windows (mostly turning off a load of unnecessary apps that run n the background), but Windows would not be my first choice; how does he feel about Linux as an OS?
  23. Rush at Sheffield on the Roll The Bones tour. Not sure if it was the first ‘big gig’ I’d been to, but that one stands out as being too loud.
