  1. I bought the album on the strength of this track- the album is brilliant!!!
  2. Needs an appointment with some Nitromors and an orbital sander, then *plenty* of TLC.
  3. 17th of October, which brings this year's gig count to a dizzying ONE!! Can't frickin' wait - dipping for a band I've played with before. It's just covers, but an eclectic mix of reggae, 80's synth pop, a bit of rock etc... and loads of chaotic tomfoolery.
  4. These compressors are just awesome - I wish I had the money (and of course, it was closer). GLWTS!
  5. Be aware thou that you’ll lose some effects; the B1 ON has more synths than the later models - part of the reason I ‘downgraded’ to the MS60B. Check the effects list on the zoom website to be certain that you’ll still have what you need.
  6. I’m with Doddy on this - OC-2 all the way. If you want polyphony then look at zoom stuff- they’ll all do polyphonic octaves and pitch shifting for less than a ton in a couple of cases. You could even set up a patch with a heavy compression before it to give it a helping hand.
  7. yeah, I much prefer the Tonelib app to zoom's own software. I should just get a cheap multi effects for guitar and leave my MS60B as it is.
  8. I was looking at this last week, not tried it yet, but it would be good to get some guitar amp sims on my ms60b so I can use it as a practice tool for guitar...
  9. An excellent soundtrack. There’s a version of this on Sneaker Pimp’s first album: https://youtu.be/peug224n77E
  10. Life at _5 towers has continued as normal. Butlers still buttle, footmen still foot etc...
  11. Did the singer help with the load-in?
  12. Good call, love me some Dread Zeppelin!
  13. Ah Kauffman, Elvis’ favourite Elvis impersonator.
  14. No Doubt’s “Rock Steady” album. Some great input from Sly & Robbie and Prince on this one.
  15. I know!! I almost bought one 10 years ago, but the font put me off.
  16. I’ve just done exactly this - gone from a B1four back to an ms60b. yes, the functionality is very much reduced, but the MS60b has more synths, which is primarily what mine’s used for. Running the MS60B in a loop pedal means that I have a master switch to bring it in or out of the signal path, and I use the MS60B foot switch to cycle through my pre selected patches.
  17. My Bitsa Jazz/MM fretless. Love it!
  18. Space - big cabs do not make for domestic bliss, also they’re really heavy!
  19. I’ve been really impressed with the Wilkinson Musicman/Jazz combo - switch either pickup on individually or run in parallel for the standard ‘stingray’ tone. Not expensive either: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wilkinson-Platinum-WJM-Bass-System/dp/B01M0RSO1M
