Get a smart charger. The display on this one's a bit naff, but it's a good charger.

Agree with the suggestion of Eneloop rechargables.

Try an instrument lead between the effects loop in/out (send/ return). The contacts on the switched jack sockets can act up.

If you'd split 'em for cash, I'd have one.

I bought a small bottle of Dr Ducks Ax Wax some time ago, and use it on everything - strings, frets/fretboard, saddles & chrome work, everything.

A little really does go a long way - I reckon this bottle will last longer than me...

Find a preset that you like - save it to a different slot eg A1
Find another preset that you like - save it to an adjacent slot, eg A2.

I've a Zoom G1on. Some of the effects simulations are also in the B3.

If it sounds good...

For home noodling I use a Zoom B1on - effects, tuner, drum machine, looper, aux in, headphone out. And if you want to use it with a real amp, they sound really good.

Dunno, it's an amp that I play bass through. But not the guitar combo that you probably have in mind. It's a head, like the one at

Hooked up to my BF Compact it sounds rather lush, and it's plenty loud enough for all but the largest of pubs. IMO, YMMV etc.

I used an Acoustic model 120 for years (until it caught fire, literally...) Which was rated 125W IIRC, and it was always plenty loud enough for the gigs I was doing at the time.

FWIW I think an awful lot of bands, even full on rock outfits, play far too loud.

I've just bought a Mustang - a post Xmas prezzie for myself. Have to say I'm pretty bloody impressed so far

Vintage, I think, are smaller at the heel.
