Get a suitable cable. Jack on one end, and whatever's present on the 15 (speakon/jack/whatever) on the other.

Are you sure you want a 4 Ohm speaker? According to the manual, it's 12W into 8 Ohms. Personally, I'd play safe and get an 8 Ohm one.

Thanks - in that case, it could be just the job I currently carry my B2 and various instrument/speaker/kettle leads, bits & bobs, PSUs etc in a holdall type bag that's not big enough for the B9. If I can get them all in the same bag as the B9, it'll still only be a single bag to carry. cheers.

Wow - that looks real tidy. I took my tatty old '82 Thunder 1 to rehearsal last night and, as always, was pleased to be reminded how nice it plays and how huge it sounds.

[/quote] Dunno about the EBs, but I'm pretty sure the MAGs max quoted output is into a 4 Ohm load. So the MAG300, fer example, will only do about 150-200W into the integral 8 Ohm speaker/s. you'd need to add another 8 Ohm extension cab to get the full whack.

I can't do that. I don't have my bass particularly low (buckle rash around the mid bottom half of the body) but the bass sits higher up when I'm sitting down, which I find uncomfortable. If it didn't take me so b%**#y long to learn and work stuff out, I'd do it all standing up...

[/quote] I've not used the bass stuff, but I did own a guitar combo for a while many years ago - but only because I won it in a competition! It was truly awful.

My current gigging rig is a Tanglewater Classic J through a LH500 and a Barefaced Compact, and I can't see me changing it any time soon. Also have an HA2500 which I keep mainly as a backup, but I'd happily use it as my main amp.

[/quote] Remove the 10 or so dinky little screws from the top panel, and it lifts right off. Prepare to be amazed at how little "stuff" is in there. Once you're in, the pots are easy to get at as I recall - just poke the flexi tube into a gap in the pot casing, and give it a squirt. Repeat as necessary. While you're in there, you might want to make sure that the valve is seated properly, just in case that's contributing to the noise.
