Jazz neck is norm 38mm, I just like a smaller width neck as my preferred choice.
Ah I see, for some reason I thought that traditional jazz basses had wider necks at the nut....you learn something new everyday! Best of luck with the sale; sorry I can't help you shift this beauty!
If the shuker had a jazz neck I would have been.. And yes the bass is stunning in looks, sound and playability..
Out of curiosity, by jazz neck...what do you mean? I'm learning that with necks, although only millimeters in difference are worlds apart sometimes. Does a jazz neck have a specific specification?

Wow, very nice indeed! I love these satin finishes on basses. Any interest in a Shuker Jazz trade?
4. Removed as no longer available.
5.
Does this have an asymmetrical neck? Looks really great
Indeed it does, as is standard on ACG basses I believe; very comfortable to play. Killer tone!
6. This really is a beauty! I am very interested but wondered if you could answer a couple of things? What is the nut width, the neck width at 24th fret, the neck thickness at first fret and neck thickness at 12th fret? Also, does this fret board have a radius, or is it flat (looks to have a radius from the pics)? Sorry to be a pain, but I've recently discovered that I'm much more comfortable playing flatter wider necks Cheers!
7. This really is absolutely delicious. Any appetite in a trade for my Performance Louis Johnson bass? I get the impression that the build quality would be very comparable and whilst I utterly adore my PLJ bass, I think that this P bass tone would sit very well with my current band. Pics here. Alternatively, I've got a Shuker Jazz 32" scale here.
8. Also owning a Performance bass, I can attest to their build quality and necks which are, as far as my experience goes, second to none. Best of luck with the sale!
9. Last punt bump before this goes up for sale outside of Basschat...
10. Damn man.....just been checking out some videos of this bass.....beautiful p-bass tone with looks and versatility to go with it. I wish I had anything to offer by way of trade....the more I see of these Xotic basses, the more I get GAS for one.
11. Amazing! What are the controls?! Never seen a p bass with more than 2 control knobs
12. Very nice bass dude! You got any recordings of it? Not sure I've ever heard an Alembic in the flesh!
13. Reduced to £900 delivered to UK mainland; this weekend only.
14. Bump for the lovely tone and great looks - new pictures added
15. Jens Ritter is a genius; a world class luthier with hi-fi fanaticism, German engineering skills and an unparalleled appreciation for bass finishes....one day I will own a Ritter bass. Sadly it won't be now Best of luck with the sale, these things are nothing short of incredible!
16. Passive? Just take out the battery As for the £1K...if this were in 6 months, it'd be burning a hole in my pocket!
17.
Big mistake selling this...especially at this price....to quote Frank... "regrets, I've had a few...but then again..."
Yes....I'm starting to think that too. Playing on it right now as it goes.....rapidly thinking I need to keep it; to quote GOB 'I've made a huge mistake'.
