SOLD
I don't think it's the latest? Doesn't have the 'cut' option . Great price though
I can assure you it does just not visible in the picture.

SOLD

Excellent pedal, looks like the latest revision too. Great deal!
3. So tempted to upgrade the Puma with this...
4. On Hold
5. Bump
6. Worth mentioning these are now discontinued so somewhat harder to get hold of!
7. Fuzz pedals most likely, perhaps some modulation. No filters/overdrives/octavers.
8. Up for sale I have a recently acquired 3 Leaf Wonderlove envelope filter. Bought it as it was a silly bargain, but I don't really need an envelope filter so the impulse buy needs to go! In good condition, few chips in the paintwork but in perfect working order. It is the original version with the rather funky paint job! Link to original sale thread here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/291059-3-leaf-audio-wonderlovesold/page__p__3124642__hl__wonderlove__fromsearch__1#entry3124642 Selling what I bought it for at £120 plus shipping. Trades also considered. Cheers
9.
I've just watched the pro mo vid. It looks very well built and sounds great. I'm very interested in this head but need to see/hear more samples of the various sounds it can put out. Hard attacking finger style please with crunch, please. If it needs a fan then so be it. I won't hear it when playing live, it's a 900w head rammed full of distortion for stage use... it's not a bedroom toy. I think I want one.
I would imagine the concern about the fan is more about mic'd recording or perhaps reliability. Well, thats mine anyway
10. Class D heads vary so much it is impossible to generalise them the way some are in this thread. I'm not going to get involved, but all I will say is the TH500 sounded very thin and weedy in comparison to my Tecamp Puma when AB'd with the band, something really lacking in the sound. Lack of heft? Just don't!
11. I still can't believe how cheap Darkglass have released this head at, that Andertons price is stonking. Bear in mind this practically has a Vintage Ultra and B7K Ultra built in, and they are pedals costing £325 a piece alone. Then add the power module, the fact they are handbuilt in Finland and the engineering that has gone intro producing this unit. Bravo Doug and the team! The english price is fair compared to the US price I imagine primarily because, unlike a lot of the competition, this unit of course is not built in the US. For fans of the Darkglass drive pedals, utter bargain. For non-Darkglass fans, I imagine this will just be fair competition against Eich/Tecamp/Mesa and the other higher end Class D heads. It does have that power amp flexibility a lot of others don't. Cheaper than the Mesa, a tiny bit more than the Eich, and love it or hate it the Mircrotubes engine makes for a very flexible preamp in comparison. Owning both the Ultra pedals and a Tecamp head I'm very happy with, I can't see how I can justify this without selling basically everything I use at the moment, bar basses and cabs. I admit to being disappointed with the addition of a fan (love that the Puma only has very silent ones that are hardly ever on, and it never feels close to overheating), but that foot switch has to make up for it, surely?
12.
To be honest I don't know why I moved away from them, went back to Musicman for a while, traded my stingray for this lovely Mayo but I still miss the Fanned frets if I'm honest!
Trade. Trade. Trade. That is all.
13. Good call on making it matte too, as opposed to gloss. Would love to see it with a dark wood fingerboard though...
14.
Sounds nice. If you do end up moving on your TAFM .......1st first dibs please :-)
On a different note, if you decide to move the Photon on, 1st dibs please!
15.
No it doesn't - it says, like the NG2, that the pickups are made in Canada, and then at the bottom, like the NG2 it says the country of origin. If you compare the two lists, the components are in the same order, suggesting that there's a standard form that Dingwall use for their specs on their marketing. I'd still agree it's a lot of money for a Chinese manufactured instrument, but then aren't Lakland Skylines a similar price and have similar specs - US made electronics, sent back to the States for final set-up/inspection?
Exactly. Odd criticisms in this thread, instead focus on the pink and carbon fibre combo!! Haha
16.
It's in the small print: SPECIFICATIONS: •Dingwall made in Canada FD3n pickups* •Darkglass 3-band pre-amp, active/passive switch •Rotary 4 way pickup selector bridge, both parallel, both series, neck) •Dingwall USA strings - buy HERE •Alder body - Black Finish •Maple Fingerboard - 37 - 34" scale •Black dots •Carbon Fibre pickguard •Banjo frets •NOVAX® FANNED-FRET SYSTEM™ (see below) •Five piece maple neck •Black nickel hardware •Hipshot licensed tuners •Manufactured in China •Final set up at Dingwall Shop in Canada Manufactured in China but finished in Canada. I agree that it's possible to get quality stuff from China but they tend to be cheaper than Korea and Indonesia simply because labour costs are dirt cheap.
Interesting angle. I don't think its fair to say Dingwall hide it in the smallprint, the combustion basses are half the price of the next range and its in the specs. They are all set up professionally in Canada as well bear in mind. I find that in China you get exactly what you pay for. A £1.3K bass built in China is a £1.3k bass, as opposed to basses built in the UK/US/Germany/Canada, where value for money varies wildly!
17. Use external image hosting sites, best way really! Photobucket etc
18.
I just do not seem to like Dingwall's approach to style or tone. Now it seems they are venturing further into the really heavy spectrum of metal...I've seen a few videos of NG and whilst he can play quickly, it just does nothing for me. A very brave colour! ...and people said the Bongo was odd looking!
Watch more of NG , his playing can get very technical and is so much more than fast playing! Being primarily a guitarist he plays his bass more that way perhaps, but very talented indeed. These basses are certainly love/hate but superb basses for the money.
19. Just go to the website in the clearance section, its all there Very tempted by one of the Berg cabs!
20. Excellent deal, this bass looks a stunner!
21. Ill have to check out your tracks, awesome!
22.
Just a shot of all the pedals I have, actually getting a second board going so I can switch thing up and use more of my pedals if I feel like it
Insane dude. Do you actually use all of these in your band??
23.
bump and offers on thius lovely anologue unit
Analogue? Its digital, but a brilliant piece of kit for sure. Newer Boss multi effects don't come close to the synth sounds this can make.
24. The inevitable flood of these in the classifieds seems to have started, two up in the last week or so, and these are the good ones??

It is certainly voiced for bass so you will lose highs. Music certainly sounds darker through the aux, but you may get away with it
