Hmm, Not in great nic, that Wal, certainly not at the new Buy it Now price! Strings over neck pickup do look odd, you can certainly see that the nut has shifted, but only by a little. Could be a trick of the camera, but this is certainly a bass to see any play before handing over a penny.

The BS1 is now with me Its a cool little (well, quite big actually) pedal. I owned a Woolly Mammoth so long ago I can't quite remember it, but this does a decent impression. From memory the Gate is nowhere near as tight as the Mammoth could get, but other than that it seems like a faithful clone. Build quality is quite nice, footswitch could be quieter but the knobs/pots feel high quality. Had to take off the battery assembly at the bottom to get it flat enough for pedalboard use but thats not much of an issue. Buying a battery for it would nearly cost as much as the pedal did But yes, other than it being a little oversized, a slightly poppy footswitch and a softer gate than its master, I can't complain too much at all Lows are THUNDEROUS!

I am a big fan of Rattlesnake leads, but they can work out a little expensive after delivery/customs. Nothing wrong with OBBM cables

Will they ever be seriously sought after? [/quote] No, sadly. If anything, they are going down in value. As has been said, £900 odd with get you an eighties Streamer if you look in the right places. A few years ago you would be harder pressed to find one for less than four figures. Relative to handbuilt basses, there are so many of them knocking about as well, which doesn't help. The rarer models and [i]some[/i] LTDs are holding value a little better, but I can't ever imagine seeing them go up.

[/quote] Well, the WMD Protostar has been with me for a little while now. Big step up from its little brother, really cool filter and the patch bay is something unique. Great with an expression pedal and the LFO is really musical too. Crazy and subtle sounds to boot Ultimately though, I will likely move it on (once its actually on general sale) as I don't have too much use for a filter at the moment. Saying that, would still like to try a Trutron...

It would honestly be easier and cheaper to buy a second hand neck than try to fix this one. Corvettes can go real cheap on the market, particularly beat up ones.

Its just occurred to me that he states how this bass is tuned. How could he possibly tune any of the lower strings?
