1. I wish I had the means to take this from you!
2. Lets price this a little keener, £235 Shipped
3. DHA build good stuff. For me, though, the number of valve emulator pedals and the increasing quality of these puts rear valve pedals with large footprints and tricky power requirements on the back foot for me.
4. couldn't tempt you with another B7K? Haha!
5. Never heard of it in truth. Not much of a hit if it doesn't work out? Spend a little more and get the Warwick ust a Nut I version (which this appears to be emulating). Of course, this will probably be no good for you if you need a 40mm nut!
6. It was never the intention, but despite my efforts to justify it, having two is just overkill. I may change my mind again by this evening, however...
7.
Latest board for church
You let that beast in church?!
8. You know what it is. Mint as new condition with a bit of velcro on the bottom, happy to remove. This is the latest Finnish version, purchased new by me from Bass Direct earlier this year for £275 (may be able to dig out the receipt), made from a stunning one piece aluminium block. Has the attack cut option, which makes this pedal so much more useable as a preamp [s]£245[/s] £235 shipped in original box. Stock pic, will provide a real picture on request but really is no different!
9. Pm'd for all 3
10.
That's not bad either ! and nearly half the price of the B3K Still undecided
All depends on what sound you want. The Cog sounds 0% like the Darkglass...
11.
Okay. I think I gets this pedal now. I thought it was a distortion with an Eq. It's SOOOOOOOOOOO much more than that. And looks cool to boot It's a great preamp. It interacts well with my other sounds and actually enhances them. Using it in anger at rehearsal tomorrow.
12.
that was the least sexy shot of the build so far.... unless you like Metal clamps, in which case you're in boner inducing clamp territory!
This any better?
13. Fingerboard and neck being glued up....
14. I didn't think the MXR was out yet, but it has 3 votes??
15. It's that like the exact same garden table as mine as well? Haha!
16. An obvious vote for the B3K here, the Darkglass sound worked well with a VT Bass Di for me, too.
17.
Another thing to note is that when you have a jack plugged into a pedal with a battery, the battery will keep the pedal on. This means the battery will drain unless you unplug your patch leads when not in use. I would also unplug the volto when your board is not in use.
This would only happen if you also unplugged the 9V. Having a lead plugged into the 9V disconnects the battery in most pedals, regardless of whether the power us on or not, so you don't need to unplug the patches.
18. Leave them out. The only advantage I can think of is if you have a power failure on the pedalboard during a gig. This would seem unlikely (as power cuts would turn the amp etc off too, so it would be a power supply failure or similar) and also would only work if all the pedals have battery connectors or otherwise all were true bypass, and the 9v plugs were disconnected.
19. Jesus! Half price on normal prices on here! Fourth dibs, for what it is worth!
20.
haha! Mine arrived yesterday. Had 30 miniutes or so and at the moment I'm at dispointment but think I need to spend more time playing with it.
What do you intend on using yours for? Clean, grit or full on drive? As said, the settings interact a lot, particularly now a attack cut has been introduced. Mine arrived today, so I now have two B7Ks. I run one clean with a tiny bit of grit, with the new one replacing my B3K as the full on drive sound going into it. I have the attack set to cut and grunt to fat on both of mine. The attack boost is only really useful for a heavy metallic tone, use in moderation! Take time with it, bud. It's bloody superb once you get to know it.
21. Sold, Pending Payment
22. I snapped. I have one arriving tomorrow.
23. For sale cash only now folks
