1. I nearly bought yours when you were selling it This is my second Roscoe, I think the Barts work really well for the Roscoe tone, they are not my usual choice of pickup by any means. Easy enough to change if needs be, we'll see how I get on with them
2. I struggle with a lined fretless. That, well that's just crazy.
3. Awesome!
4. Okay, so a few updates! We have gone for the dual Nordstrand Bigman pickups with a pretty cool electrics package if its possible, more details on that if it happens! Change of neck, Chris has got some superb 'Ribbon' figured Indian Rosewood so I have opted for this as opposed to all-claro. Here is the rosewood: Final position of the Ziricote board: and here is the body, all glued up and ready for final routing/sanding and oiling!
5. Stunning mate, fingerboard is ace. Would love to hear any sound samples? Tool comment makes it sound like it is Wal'y, however my ACG (standard coil pickups) was quite a different animal. The newer preamp model sounds very good as well!
6. Aye, this is barely over 8lbs
7. Now the sun is out and I have been able to get the camera out, time to introduce my new bit of wood! A beautiful 2011 Roscoe LG Custom/3005. Swamp Ash body, Buckeye Burl top and headstock, Birdseye Maple board and Maple/Wenge/Maple neck, with Roscoe Barts and Aguilar OBP-3 Pre.
8. Replied Still available.
9.
A bit late now, but another option would've been to keep the B3K and run it into this which should be out next week!
Ambitious! I would love it to be out next week, but I imagine this and the compressor won't actually go into full production for a wee while longer. Would love to be wrong, as I intend on buying both!
10.
I'm guessing that Thomann do a LOT of business with Parcelforce, and will be better-placed than you to put pressure on them.
Strictly speaking, Thomann do no business with Parcelforce at all. They exclusively use DHL, who hand over to the Royal Mail and Parcelforce when passing into our country. I am sure Thomann will take an interest, but realistically you are going to need to complain direct to Parcelforce.
11. I have a original Darkglass B3K for sale, the first version handmade by Doug before they went over the US. A collectors item one day? Would love to keep it, but I need cash so Ill settle for just a B7K! Great condition, couple of scratches on the knobs but otherwise fine, and works perfectly. £145. 12. Flexsteels, lower tension, louder, have quite a unique feel about them. I really like them, my string of choice at the moment. I don't know why they cost more, though...

Midlands Bass Bash 2

FFS! I completely forgot! Looks like a great gig guys, sorry I didn't make it!
14.
It's great!
Take time experimenting, the EQ, Attack and Grunt all interact beautifully

Elguedd Feedback

Purchased a Roscoe bass from Guido, guy was a pleasure to deal with. Accepted pay method i was comfortable with, shipped when he said he woud, arrived earlier than he said it might, bass is a corker, top deal! Cheers matey
16.
I gave in and ordered one at lunch time! My 3 is a USA one without the cut switch and can be a little hissy at full tilt.
The new Finnish ones are a good improvement, immaculate build quality, a much better relay switch (I had three US ones fail on me, haven't purchased 3Leaf since) and the far more useful Attack Cut switch.
17. Cheers Bobby The Wal will be dropped off with Paul tomorrow evening, so I should hopefully have an ETA on its return to me and confirmation of when I can move this incredible instrument on. Thank you for all the interest so far, some great offers but must stress this is a cash sale primarily, I will consider trades under the terms previously stated but they must be instruments that I will be able to sell easily to meet the value of the trade, it may be simpler to just sell it yourself first
18. I have both. To be honest, I have never run the B7K flat so don't actually know how they compare. However, If there is any tone difference with the B7K flat, it will be so very slight you'll never hear it in a mix. The B7K is a huge upgrade, I sold my original B3K as I found it too restrictive tonally, the B7K is in a different league, a true preamp. Having them both together stacked is just brutal, and possible without bucket loads of hiss now thanks to the Attack Cut mode, huge improvement for both units.
19.
Wow Kev,can't believe your parting with this one. Might be worth mentioning if you're open to shipping (internationally), since a good amount of folk here across the pond would be interested I bet, especially with that color!!!
International shipping anywhere available for sure, will need to be fully insured so wont be cheap but will sort out quotes for serious interest
20. A few more piccies:
21.
Wow Kev! Am I right in thinking that's the short scale that was on here? Never tried a Roscoe unfortunately but always loved the sound of the LG3005 when listening to them on YouTube.
It's not Sheps Similar, but full 35" scale with birdseye maple board and aguilar pre.
