1.
Wow Kev,can't believe your parting with this one. Might be worth mentioning if you're open to shipping (internationally), since a good amount of folk here across the pond would be interested I bet, especially with that color!!!
International shipping anywhere available for sure, will need to be fully insured so wont be cheap but will sort out quotes for serious interest
2. A few more piccies:
3.
Wow Kev! Am I right in thinking that's the short scale that was on here? Never tried a Roscoe unfortunately but always loved the sound of the LG3005 when listening to them on YouTube.
It's not Sheps Similar, but full 35" scale with birdseye maple board and aguilar pre.
4. All offers by pm please.
5. Just tell her you are doing the Wall first, not your fault if she misunderstands...
6.
Woah! I thought my bass GAS was under control!! That is absolutely stunning! I bet it plays like a big, warm cuddle from God!
Nice description! Cheers for the comments, guys.
7. A little snip to bring this thread back to life:
8.
Latest addition to the family, pretty much the bass of my dreams. Next week cant come quick enough!
Ah, wenge neck. Lovely stuff!
9. I don't really need to explain what this is. Wal Mark 2 bass guitar, 4 string. Built in 1997. I am the second owner of this incredible instrument. Mahogany core with beautiful maple figuring under a stunning red gloss finish, paired with the clear gloss maple/mahogany neck. Very rare original combination finish on one of the rarest models. Two of my bass hero's, Justin Chancellor and Flea, along with countless others, recorded some of the best bass tracks in history with one of these, and it sound every inch as you would expect. Wal MK2 1997 Rosewood Fingerboard Maple/Mahogany Gloss neck Maple/Mahogany/Maple body, gloss red. 9.5 - 10lb (needs verifying). A small selection of photographs, I will provide more shortly as required. The photographs show off the stunning gloss finish reasonably and how it changes depending on light, however they do not show off the maple figuring. The flame and quilting looks superb in reality, my skills as a photographer do it an injustice. The bass was fully serviced by Paul Herman at Wal HQ in May 2015. It is now set up to perfection, fully serviced by Paul and is an absolute joy to play. A bridge screw and saddle screw were replaced as well as the jack plug, and the fret edges were rounded off, electronics serviced, fully lubricated parts and a full set up with D'addario Flexsteels 40-95 guage, now its like a new bass again. It is in superb condition for its age, no dings or any kind of damage to note. Very light unavoidable surface marks here and there but nothing you will ever notice. Balances wonderfully on the knee and strap as you would expect. It comes with what I believe to be a non-original hardcase, good enough for shipping but is a little rickety so would not wish to rely on it for much else I have priced the bass fairly at [s]£3,850[/s] £3,700, based upon the sales of recent Wal instruments. Two year wait for a new build and for this specification Paul has quoted just short of £5,000. This will be something I will be considering pursuing when finances allow, but for now the need for cash forces this sale. Cash only please.
10. The GAS for a Roscoe LG continues to build!
11.
Wow ......Just like Shep's ....lovely Good luck with the sale
Like Shep's, but with the right length neck
12. Pm'd.....
13.
My messy board, this isn't final but more seeing if I could fit everything on there. probably need a seperate power supply for the moogerfooger now.
Great selection, but you have the little OCD voice in my head screaming!
14. Very tempted...
15. Excellent outcome, so all is now well? Bass as expected E.t.c?

Feedback for 4low

Just traded pedals with Andi, great guy and would recommend!! Cheers bud!
17.
She'll be mine now then!
Well bought, sir. A steal for a cracking bass!
18. Bump for the B7K. If you found the US B7K to be too trebley, try one of these. The Attack Cut switch is superb, especially when you are using the preamp as an alway-on type situation. Also great for recording too as it can be difficult to otherwise dial the clangyness out
19. I love sappy ziricote, a Fretboard of the same is going on my Alpha build This is going to look great! Must be killing you, Rob!
20. Lovely instrument! Sure about the year though? MEC pickups, auto release control plate, no separate battery compartment and no fret markers suggest its a nineties model? Serial could help
21. The mind boggles, a 2 year wait for 2 months (at most!) of ownership and god knows what kind of rubbish price the shop would have given him. Eek..
22. I just don't understand why this is still here? Perhaps try a picture showing the original ray neck fitted? maybe? Crazy buyers market for sure!
23. Small progress; the huge slab of Claro has been cut into the body and neck piece, the body grain looks superb in this light, it will be insane when oiled!
24. I had no idea Thomann were selling them so cheaply. I sold my spare B7K for £245 earlier this month, so lost very little indeed on buying a new one. But its irrelevant, you will not be retuning it The Attack Cut mode is a huge improvement in usability and I imagine will tempt everyone who sold it for being too metallic back in. amazing unit!
