1. Its a stunning bass buddy, congrats
 2.
i recently advertised a bass and paid the £20 yearly fee to advertise this, now its no longer able to be found on my contents or on the basses for sale forum.. whats going on?
There is a forum bug, the My Content tab does not work correctly I'm afraid. Is the thread above the one you refer to? If so, hopefully this is resolved for you
 3.
Footswitch is high to allow room for a battery, knobs are low to allow top-mounted jacks. Just a bad combination of features is all. Si
You would have thought they would have slotted the battery in sideways at the edge, rather than taking all that room. I wonder how long it will be before batteries are completely fazed out....
 4. Oh that's so tragic! At least the seller accepted responsibility and took it back.
 5.
I don't think they particularly lit many peoples fires. The problem I had with them, on a few of the models, is the proximity of the footswitch to the knobs. The bearded lady fuzz for example, stupid close, totally not a gigable pedal. Si
Just checked that, what an awful design! Just seems pointless too, I can't imagine there is any innards below that switch, looks like it was put there for aesthetic reasons?
 6.
My dream bass. I actually contacted Wal basses recently for a price on a lefty MK1 build. The price quoted was the same for new. After paying an initial deposit the wait is about a year but you get to choose body wood facings, fingerboard wood and even fret metal.
How recently? MK1 prices start at £4050, so your getting a sizeable saving here straight off. Current wait is about 20 months according to the website. Gorgeous bass at a great price, GLWTS!
 7.
If you don't mind, where did you get the ramp? I'm considering one for my SR605!
A Hungarian luthier by the sounds of things This is stunning, been tempted every time one has popped up in the classifieds here, must be one of the best value basses out there at the moment.
 8. Well, that shouldn't have took me more than one guess to get! I think I am used to seeing the new Streamers with the coloured oil finish that is now only applied to the body wings so this looked normal until it twigged haha! Looks a nice refin! It wouldn't appear the finish has had much of an impact on tone; based on the Bass Direct video it sounds pretty much identical to my '91 SSII
 9. Transparant gloss on the neck?
 10. You move the tuners straight, rather than angled?
 11.
The first Stage II that I ever owned, now for sale at Bass Direct. How can I be sure... take a look at the rear of the bass. http://www.bassdirec...II_4_Black.html
I hate it when I can't figure something out...
 12. Lovely example! Out of interest, is you Ng-2 routed out of a combustion body as well? Was quite surprised to see another NG-2 with the standard combustion routing overwritten under the pickguard!
 13. Any flexibility on your budget? Now is a great time to by Warwick basses as the market is quite bluntly on its arse. At the cheaper end there is this http://basschat.co.uk/topic/254588-warwick-fna-jazzman-4-nirvana-black-made-in-germany-2005/page__hl__warwick__fromsearch__1 but an extra £400 or so will get you a NT in the current market, silly money for a very, very good instrument.
 14.
For me it made everything sound like Meshuggah or Periphery!
You say that like it is a bad thing
 15. Great basses, I wouldn't expect another to come up any time soon! The price is silly, check out how much Bass Direct is selling standard thumb BOs for!
 16.
Has anyone experienced this problem of "sorry mate, your sh*t hot but that guitar just doesn't look good enough for our band".......
Not personally, but I'v heard of bassists that have been made to change basses to fit the bands image. He isn't making it up, it does happen. If I was in a band that decided to take that route, I would no longer be in the band But the rest of what he told you seems to be utter rubbish, fivers are more popular now than ever I would wager.
 17.
S/H Warwicks are a steal at the moment representing outstanding value for money. As mentioned above research and price accordingly, lower if you want a quick sale.
I cannot believe the prices they are going for. SSIs for less than £1k a plenty this year already, and there is a Thumb NT5 for £975! Considering what you are getting for your money, crazy! The market is everchanging, some brands will, for whatever bizarre reason, always attract a good price (Fender e.t.c.), others go through fazes. One thing us for sure, there is no set 'rule' in valuation.
