1.
Fantastically comfortable bass to play, weighs almost nothing! Good luck with the sale Kev
Cheers bud, the neck is wonderful on this, very much not the baseball bat associated with the period!
2. Lots of interest but for the moment is still here. Also listed on eBay Trade-wise, I am looking at SS1 or SSII 4 strings. Will consider other trades with cash my way, but ideally a cash sale on this one.

Fodera anyone?

Incredible, but its a Fodera. This is how much they are, and the pricelist does show that these basses go for $20-35k new. What I find far more incredible is someone paid this, and is now selling it so quickly.
4. Hands down, nicest looking Shedua Wal I ever did see. Stunning! And a superb price too!
5. Up for sale I have the holy grail of Limited edition Warwick, the Dirty Blonde, 4 string version. Limited edition custom shop built Warwick from 2006 in great condition. Comes with original Warwick Hardcase and complete user kit with certificate. A few marks here and there as can be expected for a 8 year old gigging bass, but as you can see from the pictures in gorgeous condition. Stunning Poplar Burl top, incredible Tigerstripe Ebony fingerboard and the bass weighs about 8.5lb. It has been upgraded with the fantastic BRASS Just-A-Nut III from the frankly awful tedur JAN II and is now looks superb. Specifications: Specifications:Thumb BO Dirty Blonde LTD 2006 - 4 Matched Headstock: Matched Headstock Birdseye Poplar Machineheads: Warwick Machine Heads Nut: Just-A-Nut III Neck Wood: Flamed Maple neck Fretboard: Tigerstripe Ebony fingerboard Inlay: Gull inlays Fluorescent Side Dot: Side-Dots Fingerboard Radius: 20" Scale length: 34" (long scale) Fret quantity material and size: 24 Jumbo Bronze (extra hard) frets (width: 2.9 mm / height: 1.3 mm) Frets: --- Body Shape: Curved Bodyshape Bodywood (Topwood / Backwood): Birdseye Poplar top Swamp Ash back Pickups: Active MEC P/TJ pickups Electronics: Active MEC 3-way electronics Pot layout: Volume & Balance Stacked with P/P / Mid / Treble & Bass stacked Switch: --- Function of switch: --- Pickguard: --- Bridge system: 2-piece Warwick Bridge Strap system: Warwick security locks Construction: Bolt-On Left Righthand: right-handed or left-handed Colour possibilities: Natural Satin Finish Hardware colour: Black hardware String label / gauges: Warwick EMP-strings 045" - 105" (38200M) Weight: 4,0 kg included accessories: Warwick User Kit Packing: Flight Case by RockCase® (RC 10830 W) Certificate: Certificate limited to 320 pieces As you will see in the pictures, the grain on this bass is particularly stunning, incredible ebony board and wonderful burl, as well as the flamed maple neck and ash body. I'll do this for £1150 shipped to UK, little bit more for EU delivery. Worldwide can be discussed if needed!

Sold

Ah, it's back for sale! I have a dirty blonde to sell first, but very much interested in this!
7.
OK maybe I am mistaken that they all had flat fretboards - anyway I wanted mine a bit more curved. And I found the end result smoother to play. thanks Pete
So, the radius is more curved than the standard, do you know the measurement? If it was a custom change, maybe it will be written on the inside of the control plate if you don't know it?
8. I'll have a Penguin if one is going. Just let me know where I can pickup.
9. Any dings on the neck and fingerboard at all? anything you can feel when playing?
10.
To answer your question Francesco: All the Wal basses had a flat fretboard which I didn't like so I asked Wal to make the fretboard slightly curved like a Fender. He did a great job and I found it much more intuitive and comfortable to play.
All the Wals don't have flat fingerboards? Standard is 12" radius I believe? In any case, a solid shedua body is pretty special, stunning instrument!
11. See, I am waiting for pedal Darkglass are currently brewing! However, if I had a bass for the preamp I would buy it! Just ordered a T-Shirt too, how cool are these:
12. Nice one, Doug. Onwards and upwards!
13. Love the design, but any strap that completely relies on a little pin makes me very uncomfortable! The schaller design is such that, if the mechanism fails, the bass will not crash to the floor. If this (and others like it,Warwick, Dunlop etc) system fails....
14. I don't know the exact measurement without looking and can't find a measurement online, but it is the larger type hole so should be 11/16?
15. Been tempted by one of these basses many a time. Looks a stunner What is the width at the nut? I'm being a little lazy as I am sure it is on the Ric website, but humour me
16. I cannot see there being enough space on the E, its quite a small headstock. You may get it to fit by angling it differently, but of course it would look a little out of place and would require a new screw hole. Probably isn't worth it, but on the plus side if you can grab one second hand you will likely sell it rather easily if it doesn't fit
17.
How much do these basses go for normally (in working condition?). I know my Warwick values pretty well but when it comes to these I literally have no idea!
£2k, easy. Never come across one second hand, but it is a high spec Warwick. I sold my 2013 SSI for £2,100 and this is more expensive. This is a bargain for what is likely to be an easy fix for a competent luthier. Bump!

3Leaf Octabvre
I definitely think I'd use the option of switching the clean signal off and on mid song, but I don't know that that is worth the £££
If that isn't, justify it with a very, very convincing version of the two greatest octaves ever made in one pedal. I would already have purchased one if I had the moolah!

3Leaf Octabvre

I mean, a video like this (paired with the other video comparing it to the Mutron) and I'm completely sold, but why do I still get the feeling that this will not get too many OC-2's off the board?
