Well, the ribbon figured Rosewood billet has now been split, and my god was the inside a treat!
Anyone ever see two-tone rosewood before??
I can't wait to see this carved!
Cheers bud! How you getting on without yours?
One more picture of it, arty farty one ala Instagram. That's the last, I promise!

Warwick Starbass:

More a MEC pickup than a Warwick Starbass, as nice a photo as it is!
I nearly bought yours when you were selling it
This is my second Roscoe, I think the Barts work really well for the Roscoe tone, they are not my usual choice of pickup by any means. Easy enough to change if needs be, we'll see how I get on with them
Okay, so a few updates!
We have gone for the dual Nordstrand Bigman pickups with a pretty cool electrics package if its possible, more details on that if it happens!
Change of neck, Chris has got some superb 'Ribbon' figured Indian Rosewood so I have opted for this as opposed to all-claro.
Here is the rosewood:
Final position of the Ziricote board:
and here is the body, all glued up and ready for final routing/sanding and oiling!
Stunning mate, fingerboard is ace.
Would love to hear any sound samples? Tool comment makes it sound like it is Wal'y, however my ACG (standard coil pickups) was quite a different animal. The newer preamp model sounds very good as well!
Now the sun is out and I have been able to get the camera out, time to introduce my new bit of wood!
A beautiful 2011 Roscoe LG Custom/3005. Swamp Ash body, Buckeye Burl top and headstock, Birdseye Maple board and Maple/Wenge/Maple neck, with Roscoe Barts and Aguilar OBP-3 Pre.

A bit late now, but another option would've been to keep the B3K and run it into this which should be out next week!
Ambitious! I would love it to be out next week, but I imagine this and the compressor won't actually go into full production for a wee while longer.
Would love to be wrong, as I intend on buying both!

I'm guessing that Thomann do a LOT of business with Parcelforce, and will be better-placed than you to put pressure on them.
Strictly speaking, Thomann do no business with Parcelforce at all. They exclusively use DHL, who hand over to the Royal Mail and Parcelforce when passing into our country.
I am sure Thomann will take an interest, but realistically you are going to need to complain direct to Parcelforce.
I have a original Darkglass B3K for sale, the first version handmade by Doug before they went over the US. A collectors item one day?
Would love to keep it, but I need cash so Ill settle for just a B7K!
Great condition, couple of scratches on the knobs but otherwise fine, and works perfectly.
£145.

Flexsteels, lower tension, louder, have quite a unique feel about them. I really like them, my string of choice at the moment. I don't know why they cost more, though...

It's great!

Take time experimenting, the EQ, Attack and Grunt all interact beautifully
Purchased a Roscoe bass from Guido, guy was a pleasure to deal with. Accepted pay method i was comfortable with, shipped when he said he woud, arrived earlier than he said it might, bass is a corker, top deal!
Cheers matey

I gave in and ordered one at lunch time!
My 3 is a USA one without the cut switch and can be a little hissy at full tilt.
The new Finnish ones are a good improvement, immaculate build quality, a much better relay switch (I had three US ones fail on me, haven't purchased 3Leaf since) and the far more useful Attack Cut switch.
