1. Awesome I'm still not sold on the Z body shape, but the woods are stunning and the neck is the slimmest fiver neck I ever recall playing Out of interest bud, why would you consider parting with this for another Z3?
2. Fair play for taking up that bargain If it had narrower spacing at the nut I would have had it!
3. Excellent pitch! This was mine and it is a superb instrument. The neck is its best feature for me, wonderful to play. Came very close to keeping this and fretting it, however it would have felt like I was ruining a piece of art! Good luck with the sale, but you don't need it at that price, complete bargain!
4. Very nice
5.
My new Dingwall ABZ5 from Bass Direct. Swamp ash body and wenge neck/fingerboard. Totally fantastic, I love the sound and feel of this bass.
Love this
6. Gorgeous fretless!
7.
Congrats Kev!!! Bass looks awesome!! The cherry on top would've been a poly black neck What kind of timbre is the facing?
Yeah, its a poly black neck and black/gold hardware away from being the perfect Wal, but I love it all the same I like being individual too and don't like the idea of owning a signature type bass (Geddy) so a natural neck solves that problem It has maple facings, really, really nice in person but quite hard to photograph. I will crack out the SLR at some point and do some proper photos
8.
Man thats Shiny! It looks absolutely mint! Congrats! Come on after all those Warwicks and this is your 1st dream bass?
I never 'dreamed' of owning a Warwick; given the second hand market for them, I never saw them as a difficult bass to get hold of. Basically, when I wanted a Warwick for the first time I just bought one, and never looked back However, I have wanted a Wal ever since I picked up an instrument and never thought I would find or afford one. So I am happy It is in top condition overall, but does have a few issues that need sorting, namely a few dodgy grub screws need replacing and a bridge screw is snapped in the body. I intend to get her down to Paul for a full service to sort the issues out, I shall not let them dampen my spirits
9. And I have one First time I can say I own a dream bass!
10. Mikkel just purchased a fuzz pedal from me, nice little deal, smooth and simple. Deal with confidence
11. Hmm. I have just had a bass sent to me, via DHL and insured for 3000 Euro, and it costs under 70 Euros. I couldn't comment on the length of the parcel, but weight was 22KG. I was also offered another courier (don't know name im afraid) which cost 25 Euros but was only insured to 700 euros. The seller either isn't looking hard enough or is trying it on it would seem.
12. Fantastic video
13. Cool bass
14. Wish I didn't miss this on ebay! Have a bump
15. The GAS I am getting from all the Wals is blinding! If anyone has one for sale or is thinking of selling one please, please get in touch!
16. First bass to make my jaw drop on here for a bit, that is just lovely!
17.
Here's my very funky pedal board. As you can see I love Chunk pedals, whilst the Prunes & Custard into the DiscumBOBulator gives a lovely warm synthy quack. At this stage I'm finally very happy with it so this might really just be it....famous last words .
Satisfy my curiosity; why do you have all 3 chunk pedals? The OS has the exact filter and fuzz circuit built in, doesn't it?
18. I'm really tempted, i nearly bought this before at £700 odd more! Only issue is im quite a small bloke really for this beast!
19. Sh!t, that's cheap. Real cheap.
20. Big plus one to UPS, have dealt with most of my bass deliveries this year and all have been perfect and fuss-free A note to some negative reviewers, remember the courier is only as good as the company brokering the deal. I have found 99% of my complaints from a delivery is due to mistakes by Interparcel/Parcel2go etc and not the courier.
21. Jesus these basses are haunting me!
22. Lovely bass! Glad it is a lined fretless, would be a complete nightmare otherwise...
