1. Bump for an awesome looking piece of kit!
2.
If you're looking to move it on, give me first refusal
Will do kiddo, but don't hold your breath Why not grab a gorgeous Sei instead! It has a nicer neck than the Dinger....
3.
Beautiful Sei Kev. I'm still jealous of your Dingwall!
Cheers bud. The Dingwall is a peach, no plans to move her on at the moment...but I say that about a lot of basses!
4. Few interested trade offers but still available folks. Cash still preferred, £1,600 ONO
5.
How easy to convert to B to G?
It was probably B-G when it left Martin Tweak of the Truss rod and all will be good! Would be happy to do it myself if the buyer pays for the strings
6.
Do not, under any circumstances, fret this bass it is too organic looking to adulterate. Is it a 34" scale?
That is sort of what I have been thinking, its too nice as it is to fret! Oops, it is 35" Scale strung E-C, should have mentioned that, very, very comfortable to play.
7. Thank you Bump. Cash sale is the preference here

New TC mini pedals

whenever I see these ridiculously sized pedals, I imagine a tiny neat little pedal board, light and easy to carry.......and a huge heavy valve rig behind it with a couple of back-up basses on stands. Is the size of ones pedal really that important?
9. Very nice, has tone chambers too. Price is okay, not cheapest I have seen recently, but then again fiver dolphins are a bit rarer. Get him down to £800 and its a good deal.
10. Done, I will try to find out what the issue is with the search. As has been pointed out, the content features in your profile do not work correctly, however I can't see why a forum search cannot find that thread. I have bumped you for now anyway
11. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/237403-marcus-miller-iv-cij-with-mm-retro/page__fromsearch__1 and http://basschat.co.uk/topic/237525-fender-marcus-miller-with-east-mm-retro-cij/page__pid__2458162#entry2458162 I assume? Have to say, I couldn't find the second one using a search for Marcus Miller. Let me know which one you want and I will delete the other.

Withdrawn

And this bass is back to haunt me. It looks superb, Col. Sadly my Dinger is not available (a certain Sei is though , but when funds come up and if this bass is for cash sale, I will be all over it.
13. The neck on this is just lovely and fast , very similar C profile to my Dingwall, one of the best features of the bass for sure. Nice and light, too,
14. If this doesn't sell I will be getting it fretted, just seems a shame to ruin such a lovely fretless! Should get change from £200 too...
15. Cheers buddy, if that Dolphin grows an extra string let me know! Guidance on trades, 5 string preferable and would be looking for a straight trade or cash my way really. Warwick, Dingwall, Roscoe, Sei and similar interest me would always prefer to meet than post but I do have a box . Bass also comes in a basically brand new Warwick hardcase.
16. [s]£1600[/s] £1550 Recently acquired this in a trade as an attempt at fretless, alas a heavily inebriated gentleman trying to get into his house at 3am would have an easier time of finding the key than I can on this! Specs as follows: 2007 Sei Flamboyant Fretless 5 Specs Body Style - Headed Flamboyant Offset 5 string Fretless Fingerboard - Ebony Neck - Flamed Maple with Purpleheart stringers Body Wood - Mahogany Facing Woods - Birdseye maple Circuit - Schack 18v Pickups - Nordstrand Fatstacks Veneer - Dark General Options - Blue side Leds - Tuning pegs slightly angled towards body - Strap button behind top horn - Semi Lined - Gold hardware - Full facing on front - Schaller straplocks - Carbon fibre rods A bass of fantastic quality, gorgeous neck and electronics package is fantastic. The bass has blue LEDs running down the side of the neck, not something I particularly look for in an instrument but a nice touch. Bar a little unavoidable string wear on the fingerboard, the bass is in A+ condition, a real stunner. Pictures do not do the birdseye maple justice. Cash sale £1600 ono. Will consider most trades, however I will not consider another fretless or any bass with less than 5 strings. Would prefer cash my way. Pictures courtesy of a previous owner, bass is in the same condition
17. Fantastic price for a superb Warwick. John is a top bloke too! (in fact, both of them are ^^ )
18. Truly bizzare, as someone comments on Mark's facebook post, that is going to look a complete mess if used by a regular gigger!
19. I'll never understand why people make such a big deal about this bridge and feel the need to fit them as an 'upgrade'. Don't see the appeal and I certainly didn't fall in love with it when I had one on a Fender I used to own. Just a bridge, isn't it?
20.
Hey I'm thinking of ordering a bass from thomann because I can't find it locally. If I order one and don't like it, thomann have a no quibble return policy which is great. However, according to their faq if there's nothing wrong with the instrument i would need to pay the return shipping. Any idea how much it would cost to return a bass to Thomann?
Paying for your own return shipping is pretty standard in UK too from what I have seen, although I have never bought a new bass online! Too much of an unknown entity! Using interparcel and parcel2go will give you decent shipping costs, in my experience typicall 150%-200% the cost of posting a bass within the UK. Not a deal breaker I wouldn't have thought
21. Thing is, this question is impossible to answer. There are so many pedals out there that sound very different with active basses, but sometimes it is a good different! There are not too many pedals out there that flat out don't work with actives, but that's half the fun of searching for the right fuzz!
22. This really must be one of the best sounding Warwicks ever made, you just don't get that tone without a heavy pieces of bubinga and wenge, amazing Wish I was still in a position to buy!
23.
I'm very keen to try the VMT now, though I'm not sure I need it...I got sick of the character of the B3K pretty quickly, tried a B7K as I thought the eq would give me the versatility I needed, but I realised that I just don't like the nagging (and rather unnatural) sound of either unit...It just sounded like Meshuggah or something, whatever bass I put through it!
Its amazing how peoples opinions differ. Every bass I have put through it sounds completely different! I find it incredibly sensitive to the signal going in, not in an active/passive way either. I just love it!
