1. Still here Need for cash has dropped due to other sales, but the bass is still surplus to requirement. Ideally looking for a 5 or 6 string bass or fretless, but will consider any trade that will give me something different.
2.
Col you may want to change the header, this is an NT, not an SN. (Unless of course you meant S/E??) Rare piece of Warwick history here folks, grab it while you can! I'd be seriously into this if i was working just now
I almost type the same post before I realised it stood for serial number
I know that Thomann were selling off the Warwick pro series MiK Star basses for around that sort of money earlier in the year. This however, looks like the full on German model. I think you're right to be very cautious.
They didn't do the Bubinga wood in the Pro Series so it is 100% being advertised as a German one, and it is silly cheap for what it is. Wish I knew someone in Indonesia...
4. Fair enough buddy, GLWTS! Deal with confidence guys! Ps, if I had the money I would be interested!
5. Well that has made me sweat a little! Whyyy are you giving this beauty up?!

Anyone come across this shop? http://nadamusik.net/ I stumbled across the site and came across a Warwick Star Bass II (list price over 4000 Euros) available for £856: http://nadamusik.net/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=551 Too good to be true? Maybe, as a quick google search revealed this: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/so-much-gear-so-little-time/821672-nadamusik-net-anyone-have-experience.html What do people think? This is a silly deal for a very expensive Warwick. The Specs also suggest it is a 2013 model, which in itself is a little suspicious as I cannot imagine Warwick send many top-end basses to Indonesia (I don't think they send any here at all!). I assume it is too good to be true, but thought it worth posting to see what people thought.
7. I love this, and I don't like sunbursts!
8.
Shellac is your friend.
That could be exactly what it is. It can't be a wax or oil as it just, for want of a better description, looks like it has a thin finish on it. We'll see how it lasts! Cheers guys.
9. Cracking pedal, reckon this was mine not so long ago. Has the voicing of the B3K without the drive, so works great as an EQ pedal and after other overdrive pedals to get that awesome tone. Can't go wrong!
10.
Nothing 'ltd' about that bass at all! I recently saw a SSI advertised similarly as a 2002 'Anniversary' model (i.e. 20 years after they started) but it was NOT in any way limited... it was simply produced 20 years after their first one!
I saw that and chuckled to myself! This is indeed a standard FNA Jazzman, perhaps he meant discontinued? Edit: Oops, just read the rest of the description, he is just wrong Maybe he thinks Jazzmans are normal and FNA Jazzmans are LTD? Who knows!
11. The Aurora strings? They sound like steel, but I was looking for that before I bought and didn't see that they specify.
12. 8 days left? Nothing to get excited about yet. If it does stay under £1200 or so it will be a good deal. Otherwise, for a single pickup pro, not so much I wonder how much Wal would charge to fit a bridge pickup and a filter pre, as it is a lovely example.
13. Wish you were local, why someone hasn't took a punt on this is beyond me!

Xmas FX

Took delivery of a new B7K today, missed mine so much I had to order another! Got a nice surprise too, as Doug/Spencer have revised the design a little. Looks very slick, EQ is in the right order and they have added an additional Attack setting so it is now a 3 way switch. very welcome addition to me as I always felt it was a bit too bright on the old Attack boost setting, the new settings are cool! Can now either have it set flat, boost the lower treble range or boost the presence. Footswitch seems even quieter, if that is possible! Works so well with Intertia
15. Have you tried EQ'ing your amp to get that mid control you need? Like Luke, I would be a little surprised if changing the preamp on the bass would help on stage if changing your backline didn't.
16. And another http://basschat.co.uk/topic/225946-fs-digitech-bass-whammy-rare/page__pid__2324403#entry2324403 When is the bass whammy due to be out, any word?
17. I had the generic response of using beeswax or lemon oil, neither of which would give the sheen it has. I think it has a finish on it that will probably wear off over time, rather than it be something you can keep applying regularly. No other experience with post 2010 Warwicks for comparison. I should probably ask on the Warwick forum I guess.
18.
I doubt it's doing him or the sale any favours though. I think the original point's been sufficiently made now, and it's worth pointing out that he wouldn't be the first person to begin somewhat inauspiciously only to become one of the key members of BC.
I agree, so leave it be now folks please and allow the man to sell his gear
19. If I say it is The Bottom Line, do I get a prize?
