1. Bass specific Reverb pedal, another great unit from Iron Ether. The filter knob is perfect for preventing muddyness that is common with guitar-specific reverb pedals. In brand new condition, bar velcro on the bottom, and will come with box. £135 shipped. No UK dealer as far as i know so would cost a fair bit more to buy new once shipping and duty is taken into account Trades? Unless it involves a iB Nova Delay or another Iron Ether pedal i probably wont be interested, but try me
2. It is a little actually, but it's not too bad. Do they do custom DR sets? As i'd love a 125 or 130 with the 40, 60, 80, 100.
3. £350 collected in leamington spa, will meet at a train station in England/Wales if my fare is paid.
4. This is now sold, trade pending.
5. Clean was the wrong word, i mean the octave will be produced better and sustain longer, rather than warbly sound you may get from the harmonics of a fuzz. I do like an octaver after a low gain drive pedal though, that really worked well with an Oc-2.
6. Okay, now considering trades again. Trade value remains upwards of £1800-£2000, will consider most things, mainly looking for Amps than basses. More pics (cloudy today, typical!) 7. I reckon she'd fit in nicely! And by nicely, i mean the complete opposite of all 3 Love to have me a go on a Buzzard, awesome looking things!
8.
This is madness. Everyone knows it goes octaver, dirt, filter ! simples !!
Traditionally, yes. In reality, maybe not! I too love the sound of a filter before a fuzz/distortion, but i would always put the octaver first to get as cleaner octave as possible.
9. The Dolphin looks tiny in that picture! Awesome stuff
10. Are you based in Japan? As that's some serious import costs buyers will need to consider
11. Surprised neither have gone, quality basses.
12. I would struggle to understand why anyone would pay silly amounts for a pre-ernie ball Musicman over the new Musicman Classic series, unless they were a collector. (may as well start the ruck )
13.
Ouch - too much for me, I'll stick with my anorexic little one ta
Haha, can't be doing with light basses! Sure i wont be saying that in 20 years time Just notice that you use DR Nickel Lo Riders on your Roscoe from your sig, just fitted a set to mine today!
14. DR's arrived today, strung up and they sound great, lower tension than the existing strings and have a great mid range growl to them, without the somewhat annoying new string zing. Feel nice under the fingers, B is certainly a fair bit looser than the 130 Daddario, however i like it Happy, hopefully they will last!
15. The best Stingrays for looks and sound that i have seen were made by Ernie Ball in the late eighties/early nineties. Not played so couldn't comment on feel.

Iron Ether Subterranea

Mine only shipped today, hope its worth the wait!
17. Pair of excellent pedals, and the Vintage was similarly unstomped on by foot under my brief ownership! And for those wondering, these pedals completely compliment each other!
18. Now that iv spent a few days with the bass now, I'm not sure it was the tension that was bothering me, I think it was just adjusting to the additional scale length (2 inches longer than my last bass) as I actually find the tension okay now. I am giving the DRs a go, will report back!
19. Actually quite weighty for a roscoe, comes in at over 10lb, balances so well though you don't really notice the extra weight! Plus, no matter how light swamp ash is, ill always prefer the look an deeper tone of Spanish cedar, it's gorgeous
20. I'm tempted by DR Nickel Lo Riders 40,60,80,100,120, but although they are lighter alot of people talk about them having higher tension than normal strings, which may not work for me...
21. So i picked up a Roscoe 5 string at the weekend, currently strung 45, 65, 80, 100, 130 nickel Daddario's but i think would benefit from a lighter guage string set. I am used to 34" (and more recently 33") and am finding i would like a set with a little less tension, which i assume is most easily gained with a lighter string. Any recommendations? I prefer nickel to steel, but otherwise i'm open to suggestions, particularly from Roscoe owners I was tempted to order a Overwater light set, however there is apparently a 2 week order time and id rather have strings sooner...
22. Up for sale i have a great GK combo, the MB150S 112-III. Great amp, set the standard for small lightweight combos, solid metal construction and is louder than you may expect. Fantastic tone. Manual here: http://www.gallien-k...-III-Manual.pdf In good condition, few nics here and there but nothing serious, no issues whatsoever. Comes with a Warwick Rockbag, also in good condition, bar a small rip. [s]£400 [/s]£350 collected from Leamington, prefer not to ship but will get prices if required, would prefer to meet at a train station if my fare is covered. 23.
How about a trans black finish like my Euro 5LX?
I'm a Warwick guy therefore i have to hate Spectors, however that looks brilliant.
24.
For me it would be the akai deep impact, human gear animato, ehx civil war big muff and green russian big muff. I wish akai would do a re run of the deep impact. To be paying €600 odd for a pedal that wAs worth £100 odd new is just ridiculous. Same goes for the big muffs, they are awesome pedals, but I would never rely on them for a gig! My Black Russian is very temperamental...
Muse fan?
