  1. Still tempted by that 'ray. If the purchase of my intended new bass doesn't happen due to delays with selling my Zoid i could well come back to this...
  2. Thanks mate! Nope it isn't different, the nut is clearly cut for E-C but accommodates B-G just fine
  3. Sorry mate! But thanks for the kind words
  4. Not a problem I have come across on iPhone 4S or iPad 3, but I stand corrected! Ah well, hopefully he'll post and you'll get it anyway cracking price for a quality bass!

    WITHDRAWN

That's looks cracking, an I usually hate ritters!
  6. I can pm fine with an iPad, on mobile and desktop version???
  7. Yes I have owned both and it's a significant upgrade for me, still very much the B3K tone but the Eq is really powerful. I prefer using it with active basses; only comparison I have is my W&T has a passive mode and I prefer running the b7k in active.
  8. I'd sell the sansamp and the B3K and buy yourself a B7K, you wont be disappointed!
  9. Very true, the bass will never work without a battery The tone with the preamp bypassed is basically the same as the preamp active and flat i have found. Can only again mirror his ^^^ comments, it can certainly get a lovely jazz tone but very much a modern one. you wont get a vintage Fender jazz sound out of a Warwick as its just not in its nature.
  10. Can't say i have ever noticed either!
  11. £300 is spot on for a superb bass preamp!
  12. Okay, just strung the bass up with what i believe is a Daddario 130 B and it fits fine and actually the bass pulls off a pretty good B, no noticeable difference in tension from my last 5er (Warwck Streamer 34"). The string fits in the nut, not as snuggly as a smaller string but i dont feel modifications will be necessary. 13. Ah okay, knew it was 34'' but didn't know it was originally a low B And thankyou, tis indeed a lovely thing. Cash sale much preferred at the moment as I still have another bass in my sights!
  14. Maybe, however there is another W&T for sale on here at the moment that was strung E-C and is now being advertised as B-G so i still think there will be room for a 130 B in that nut, but as i say i will have a look at the end of the week and take another photo In any case, i am yet to here a good solid B on anything less than 34" scale so i would probably recommend this remains at E-C.
  15. I will check when i am next at home but i would think that the nut will accomodate BEADG without modification, i believe all Wood and Tronics 33 inchers are shipped EADGC unless you request otherwise as Enrico recommends it, however i have seen many a BEADG. Of course, intonation and possible truss rod adjustments would be necessary, but i doubt you would need to touch the nut But as i say, i have a .130 string at home so i shall try it on later this week! and indeed i am from sunny Leamington Spa.
  16. This bass is now available again. Price of 1730 remains, or trade value of 1800. Will consider trades for 4 or 5 string basses only. These prices are STRICT.
  17. This is now sold, thanks for interest
  18. With regret i have had to back out of a trade deal for this bass. However, this was purley based on my inability to play bass to the standard required! This is a gorgeous looking instrument and i cant imagine you will find this kind of quality in a bass built by anyone for anything like this price! If it had 5 strings it would be mine, although i do not think the owner would part with it either.... BUMP
  19. Ah the 6 string, something I have never got the hang off but this is truly gorgeous...pm'd
  20. Couldn't agree with you there my friend, this forum is one of the best places to buy and sell basses In Europe, when the market is right! Just a buyers market at the moment is all.
  21. Thanks for the tip mate, il certainly drop Enrico a line!
  22. Several nibbles but no bites, shall I play with the price? Really need this sold asap before my target bass gets sold to someone else! Call is £1730 shipped to UK, however trade value remains at £1800.
