1. Mental, mental price for the best bass od available. Wish I could justify the extra £100 for a b7k but I can't, this little box is all you need.
2. I have an oc-2 and an oxide so looking forward to playing about!
3. How do you use your GR2 and Xerograph out of interest?? I have a Xerograph Deluxe on the way and already have a Wonderlove and unsure if i am going to end up choosing one or keeping both!
4.
My personal fav is the DOD FX25B. Dead simple, and a fantastic little pedal.
You ever tried the FX25? Even simpler and is really good at that sound.
5. Ah filters, so many options, soon i will have 2 on my board Never tried the MXR, but i would recommend 3Leaf filters for classic envelope tones
6. Not fancy a trade for my baby quasar?
7. Looking at making my pedalboard a little more professional going to buy a Pedaltrain 2 and looking to buy a quality power supply. I will be powering around 7 9v pedals, any particular recommendations? I don't really want to spend extra for features i won't use, just a high quality supply. I'v always just used a 300ma 9v Akai power supply with daisy chains, is there any real advantages over isolated power supplys and the various other options? Always been a little ignorant on this subject! FYI, will be powering iron ether, 3leaf/darkglass and boss (psa) pedals.

Feedback for James

Just sold my Warwick SS1 to James, saved my a job by jumping on a 2 hour train to pick it up! Nice fella
9. There are 3 black ones i think, which one do you have? Green style black, 2 screw top or 4 screw top?
10. Requested photographs nut to heel of neck (apologies but my iPhone camera is all i have at the moment)
11. I'm based in Leamington Spa
12. It is gorgeous and happens to be my birth year bass so it's difficult to sell, but i just prefer the Thumb and if i am to own a second bass Warwick or not it should probably be something completely different to justify it so i'm going to let it go. Would be lovely to see someone take it on and do a pro job on it, even if it doesn't necessarily need it
13. Well feel free to get in touch if you change your mind
14. and replied. For the benefit of others, the pm asked the depth of the crack. I am unable to answer that really, the crack is as deep as it looks in photographs.
15. Up for sale i am offering my 1988 Streamer Stage I. Specs as follows: Bass: Streamer Stage I 4 string Bass Serial Number: B-****-88 Neck Wood: 5 pcs. Wenge Wood with Maple Stripes Fingerboard: Wenge Wood Frets: Bronze Warwick Frets Nut: Just a Nut Brass Version Neck construction: Neck Through Construction Body: 2 pcs. Flamed AAA Maple Surface: Oil Finish Pickups: PJ EMG Pickups Electronic: MEC 2-Band electronics Hardware: Warwick Gold Hardware Weight: 8lb 14oz Great bass, gorgeous example of a pre-90 handmade Warwick, lightweight with a super fast slim neck and lovely maple figuring on the body and wenge figuring on the fretboard. However, this bass has it’s issues. First issue being that the neck has a crack in it, from behind the nut area turning into a hairline to the 5[sup]th[/sup] fret. I have had Peter Allan of Guitar Technical Services look at the crack. It would appear to be some sort of stress fracture, unsure of the cause but the truss rod nut is pretty gnarled so that may be related, although the truss turns and functions without issue. The previous owner advised that the crack predates his ownership but believes it to have happened around 5 years ago. Peter has looked at it and determined it has been glued, although not with hide glue, and seems solid so it doesn’t look like it will be an issue, just a little unsightly and you can feel the crack when playing at the top of the neck. The neck is straight and is very playable and i have put various strings on it in various tunings and had no issues whatsoever. Second issue being the electronics. It would appear that there is an issue with the MEC preamp. It appears to be clipping from the signal from the EMG’s pickups. When attacking a note, there is a slight distortion. To reduce the problem i have lowered the pickups into the body which helps, but obviously reduces output. I have not had anyone look at this and it could be something really simple to repair, but i guess worse case could be installing a new preamp. I have upgraded the nut to a period correct adjustable brass Just a Nut to replace the original non-adjustable brass nut. I have not glued it down so can be removed if desired but i enjoy the extra setup options. When i bought the bass it actually came with a plastic just a nut II so it has not had the original nut fitted since i have owned it. The base is missing from the plastic just a nut and i'm unsure if there should have been a base with the original brass nut. I will include all 3 nuts with the sale. I have been as upfront as i can with this bass. I do love it, but i prefer my Thumb and can’t really justify owning two Warwicks. I also don’t really have time to have the electronics looked at and perhaps someone who is a bit more confident may be able to test it and fix it easily. There is also a little bum on the control plate on the back were the earthing wire is soldered to the plate, unsure if this was done in factory or subsequently. I appreciate the issues and as such i will value the bass at [s]£675 [/s]SOLD I’m not going to be able to move on that price as this is a fantastic 88 Streamer and i will get the preamp repaired if needs be and keep it. I will post at buyers cost. It comes in a slightly rough non-Warwick hard case. I can provide more specific pics if required, these were all given to me by previous owner and would look better than anything i took with my iPhone camera I will also consider trades for other basses if you hit me with offers, will consider anything. 16. Bump for an awesome phaser, and a price drop to £85.00 Shipped.
17. The increase in sales on the black small box ones is crazy. I remember them going unsold for months when they were up for £35 or so on the forum. I struggled to understand why the Green ones were going for £80+ at that time, and now they are going for £200+. Crazy stuff. When their are significantly superior clones like the Arc and the various Wren & Cuff models, its just fandom gone mad. At least pedals like the Deep Impact are at least unique in that no other pedal sounds quite like it.
18. Yeah i did this a couple of times a few years back when i was really into my effects, getting back into them now so could well be something worth looking at! Tis difficult to trust i guess though, particularly with lesser established forum members, would probably be best if pedals of a similar value were maybe swapped for a set period.
19. This is stunning.
