1. Had several visits to Aladdin's Cave (being about 10 minute drive away) and he has always had time for a chat, good fella!
2. Hello Have for sale the following pedals: T Rex Dr. Swamp Interesting two gain channel overdrive/distortion pedal. Has a Level control, a Tone control and two different gain controls for each channel. Stepping on one chanell will engage the pedal, stepping on the other whilst engaged switches channels. Basically two of the same pedal in one, quite good for changing low to high gain without knob fiddling (oo-er!). It is quite a bright sound even with the tone knob rolled all the way back and there is a little low end loss. Its primarily a guitar pedal but i think it is perfectly usable with bass at the lower gain settings; it all gets a little too trebley at high gain, but then again it may well suit someone! No box, no manual, in good condition with a couple of paint scuffs on the bottom edge, works flawlessly and has blue LED's . They retail about £149 new, think this is a slightly older model so how about [s]£80 £75 £65 shipped?[/s] SOLD T Rex Comp Nova Very simple compressor pedal, another one designed for use with guitar but works fine with bass. Generally a subtle musical compresser but can get very squishy at high settings. No box, no manual, in good condition with a couple of marks here and there, nothing worth photographing. The seem to retail for about £119, so how about [s]£70[/s] [s]£65 shipped?[/s] SOLD T Rex Bloody Mary Fantastic pedal this, high gain distortion/fuzz pedal, once more designed for guitar but works very well with bass. This is largely due to the very effective 3 band EQ and a little switch called 'body' that, when depressed, delivers a filthy distorted fuzzy tone with tons of low end. Can do low gain well too, i find the best sound is with the gain around 11 o clock. And i doubt there is another pedal that looks more 'metal' You guessed it; no box, no manual but in great condition. Very aesthetically pleasing pedal and certainly matches its sound! They retail for around £129 new, how about [s]£80 £75 £65[/s] £55 shipped? All pedals will be posted by Royal Mail recorded delivery and securely packaged. Any further questions feel free to ask! I have a couple of other pedals il be listing shortly. Pic:
3. Ovangkol neck that mate by the looks of it Id also guess it was more like mid 00's too with the just a nut III, whats the serial?
4. That's of even more interest to me. Would really appreciate a heads up if you choose to sell that.
5. No thanks, it's more the lack of need I have for a pedal tuner that is making me sell
6. As said, overdrive taken care of very much interested in fuzz pedals though! Happy to add cash for the right deal
7. I would sell for £62 shipped as well if necessary, in line with online prices
8. Willing to consider anything really! Overdrive and filter needs are sorted, but anything else I will look at Cheers
9. [s]I have a brand new, unopened and unused Polytune Noir for sale, apparently only 1000 of these made but they do still seem to be available to buy. Bought last week but now thinking its not actually something i need at the moment, not the kind of guy that just takes things back to the shop so i'm looking to see if there is any trade interest? I paid £69 for it and i don't really want to lose any value in a trade Let me know![/s] This is now sold.
10.
Agreed. I'm only selling to raise funds and as I own a TC Nova Delay. TC Delays are the way forward! Speaking of which - Flashback is now SOLD! Super Massive Black Hole has been withdrawn from sale... It's just you good.
Let me know if you change your mind about that mate
11. Very tempted by the Devi, just not sure i can justify it at the moment! Without discouraging a sale, i hope it hangs around long enough for me to make a decision
12. If it does have a Lane Poor then you have a special bass
13. Looks like the whizzer mod if I had to guess...
14. How does the Devi Ever cope with Active electronics??

Withdrawn

Please delete, item no longer for sale.
16. Perhaps my playing style in the clip is hiding it, trust me it isn't usable when the pickups are where they should be, and as already said EMG's if anything are too clean as standard. Im trying to get an expert to look at it but the only one local enough to me who looks at electronics is bizarly ignoring my emails :S
17. I wasn't sure they were compatible, IK digging their heels in about the iRig. Any particular reason why you want to use Amplitube? Have to say i much prefer Ampkit and Jamup for bass
18. DR black beauties 45-105 4 string set. Tried them for about a week, look great but just aren't my thing, great tone but just not bright enough. Strung for a Warwick 2+2 headstock, no original packaging, [s]£22.50[/s] [s]£18.00?[/s] SOLD EB 50-110 Slinky 4 set, again cut to Warwick 2+2, just too heavy for me, practically unplayed, with packaging, £11.50? These are a bargain, the Black Beauties are half price and they look super-cool!

Indeed, great tone and surprising volume for a 100w 1x12
20.
An update from my previous post of 4 years ago ( ) Fender Squier standard jazz bass: My first bass; owned this for the first couple of months of playing. Looked pretty good, can't comment on its playability or sound as i didn't have a clue what i was doing back then, however quickly decided that a passive jazz wasn't for me. Musicman SUB 4: My first 'proper' bass, if you will. Owned this for around 18 months, learnt to play really with it. Great bass, loved the textured finish and the electronics. Never really liked the almost sticky painted neck. Can't really remember why i sold it, just for change i think Peavey Grind 6: My first 6 string bass. Lovely wood, had quite a chunky neck and weighed a ton. In desperate need of an upgrade in electronics but otherwise was a great first 6 string. Sold as i again wasn't warming to the passive sound. OLP MM3: I owned this very briefly, bought on a whim to give one a go, largely to compare the tone to my Musicman Sub. Didn't like it, felt cheap to play and sound wasn't great, sold on very quickly. Fender customised PJ bass: Made me a very popular boy on the forum, this one. Perhaps i showed a little immaturity and stupidty in the way i behaved with this one, got it cheap off here and tried to sell it for more. Didn't help my popularity that the eventual buyer very incorrectly but very publicly accused me of trying to sell it as a custom shop bass. Gorgeous bass, played pretty good from what i remember, but ultimately it never sounded the way i wanted so i didn't miss it much when it sold. Had for around 6 months or so. Hudson PBS 6: My second six string. I thought this bass was awesome, sounded great, really light and played really well. Neck dived a little and the finish was very soft and easy to ding, but a great bass. One of the few basses i regret selling. Owned for a good while. Westfield Jazz Bass: My first project, bough it to mod the hell out of it! i replaced the neck, pickups, bridge and knobs, and added a pickup cover, it sounded and looked great! Wasn't exactly a dream to play, but was certainly a much better bass than it started out as. Passive jazzes still weren't my thing so off it went. Musicman Stingray 5 'Blue Dawn': Blue sparkle finish, absolutley gorgeous. Fitted a Status Graphite neck to it and decided it was the best bass i had owned. Played fantastically, never sounded like the 4 string stingray i wanted it to but awesome anyway. Sold as i decided i couldn't afford to keep it. A regret. OLP MM3 with Status Neck: Bought this purely for the neck to fit to my real stringray. Fitted the original stingray neck to it, playability and feel improved but basically a similar experience to my previous MM3. Sold along with my Stringray. Status-Graphite Energy 4: Bit of a bargain from ebay as i remember, needed a bit of a service on the electronics that i never actually bothered to get done, but other than that was a lovely bass, very comfortable and nice to play, and had red led's; my only 'bling'; bass. Sold very quickly as decided it wasn't for me. Aria GT5: The replacement for the stingray, a loosely based copy. A million leagues above the OLPs, a great bass for the money. Looked great, played pretty good and the sound wasn't too far away from the real thing. Sold when i temporarily gave up bass. Vintage Relic P Bass: After not playing for a while, went to sound control in Bristol, tried one of these Vintage relic basses and bought it for a little modding. Fitted a japanese fender pickup and anodised gold pickguard, really enjoyed it. Very light but also had an easy to damage finish, owned for a while before deciding to sell. Warwick Corvette Proline: Another hiatus from playing and i saw this six string advertised on Bass Direct's website. Went down there and picked it up on the 'Take it Away' scheme. My first Warwick bass and will probably be the last main brand of bass i'll play. Fell in love with the sound, just awesome. Sadly never fell in love with the size of the neck or its six stringyness, so sold it on for... Warwick Thumb NT 4: Best bass i have ever owned or played, no contest. 1990 model, so handbuilt by 'west' germans, perfect slim wenge/bubinga neck and a stunning chunk of bubinga bodywood. Had this for around 18 months now and can't see it going anywere. Never played a bass i have felt so at home on. Currently strung up with Ernie Ball Cobalt Slinkys and played through a Gallien Krueger combo. I just hope money problems don't make me sell it. Harmony Precision Bass: Got this in a trade with an amp. As good a P bass copy as i have tried, fitted some Schaller tuners, which just don't seem to drop out of tune, and a set of Ernie Ball Extra Slinkys and it plays lovely. Great rock sound, was going to sell but may as well hang on for the moment as for the money i wont find anything i would prefer.
Warwick Streamer LX5: Bought this last year as it caught my eye, 2000 model in red, very pretty. Wasn't my favourite Warwick tone, a little thin but this could have just been an (unfair) comparison with the NT Thumb. Also had a slight bow in the neck. Still a great bass, but moved it on beginning 2013. Warwick Streamer SS1: 1988 birth year model, lovely bass with maple body and wenge through neck, best Streamer woods combination for me (and they have brought it back for 2013!). Has its problems, crack in the neck (apparently glued and secure) and has faulty electronics (will be rectified once someone decides to assist me!) but it plays really well and is a great alternative to my Thumb
21. By the big one, I take it you mean it has a Lane Poor? Bet it's a cracking bass
22. Would this fit easily with a 4knob volume balance treble bass setup?
