1. Two blowtorches?! Awesome! Underrated pedal, loved mine when I had it.
2. ...and why did you sell the Thumb?!

4. Believe it or not I'm actually using the istrobosoft app on my phone! Wonderfully accurate and can't justify buying a tuner at the moment, although a black polytune mini could tempt me...
5. Can trade for a set of EB heavy slinkies, 110-55?

First up - this is not my board - but thought it was worth a share? It belongs to a Bassist, who has been playing since 1979, and he's just finished touring Japan with his band.. this pic came courtesy of his mobile phone via a popular social network site (so not the sharpest pic ever).. Can you guess who it belongs to? Hello Kev! I think you know who it is.. Why am I surprised to see the AW-3 on his board?.. Tbh I'm thinking about an original EHX Doctor-q for my board (NOT a nano clone).. The Radial Bassbone looks like a really interesting and versatile bit of kit.. for a pre-amp anyway!! Kev? If you have a board - can we see a 2013 update!! cheers..
Simply but two superb pedals
7. Bump
8. This sound clip should show the distortion, first half of the clip with pickups where they should be, second with it screwed right into the body. http://soundcloud.com/thumbbassgk/streamer-neck-pup-alteration-2/s-KJ4ZJ?utm_source=soundcloud&utm_campaign=mshare&utm_medium=email&utm_content=http://soundcloud.com/thumbbassgk/streamer-neck-pup-alteration-2/s-KJ4ZJ
9. Bump Any further suggestions on this? I'm not getting any response out of local luthiers i am trying to contact... Sadly i don't have access to any of the equipment to test the preamp/pickups and not really willing to invest.

11. Never had any truly awful basses i don't think, other that an old 70's P bass i had a few years ago, made of plywood and had a warped neck, terrible. I also briefly had a Status Energy bass i wasn't at all fond of, although i think that was more personal preference. Wooden neck, very flat shape and wasn't a pleasure at all to play for me. Pickups sound very thin too.

SOLD

Why pm the brand in private?
13. Find yourself an old Warwick Streamer SS1, i hear the new 2013 models have gone skinny too
14.
Bass sold, buyer very happy can you remove posts please admin
I never get why people request this...
15. Awesome stuff, any reason why you are moving it on so soon? Looks a complete beast!
16.
yup - i had a 2002 bassdrive for many years but eventually replaced it with the BB as I preferred the EQ of the xotic pedal. I use a booster in front of the BB and this pushes it in a v similar way to using the boost function on the bassdrive... just back from practise, and changed my board up a bit, as I'm using a P now instead of a jazz... v happy with this little setup I prefer how my grey stache sounded with the jazz, but using the precision, the TFR sounds a bit better to me - meaty as hell
Love this! Have you ever owned a Tall Font muff? If so, in reality, how does it compare? Very keen and sound samples sound good but somehow the clones I have tried have always missed something
17. I would like an EQ on the B3K, but i have never found myself needing it and, on the contrary, i always find a blend knob more useful, solo'd and in a mix. A more natural way of retaining low end when needed IMO
18. Crap photo but here is my pair
19. Sounds like a good bass at about the right price, the old passive pro series models usually go for around £1200-£1500 odd from what I have seen on here and elsewhere previously, so a grand is a winner
20. Great looking bass, cracking these! At that price its just a superb deal!
21. Bugger! How much are you selling it for, out of interest?
22. This is now sold, thanks for interest.
23. And replied
24. Okay, £85 shipped in the UK
25. Nothing scratchy about it I'm afraid, had a luthier look at it today ( Peter Alan, great chap who gave some sound advice) and it is very much a crack, probably caused by an over tightening of the truss rod, but the crack has been filled at some point and iv been told that all will remain okay providing I don't go messing with the truss rod unecessarily or try and play death metal with inch thick strings! The bass is setup nice with low action and plays really well, it's otherwise a stunning example
