1.
however nice that bass is you are committing several typographic evils there which hurt my eyes
Bit harsh, considering his location! Great bass, would love to try one of these.
2. Good week for Warwick's on here, lovely! What kind of sound variation can you get from that pickup??
3. Fair enough, I stand corrected!
4. Don't think MEC were being made in that year, do you know what happened to the original preamp?? Lovely bass
5. Nice I'd get a bit of wire wool, polish out the dirt and give her a good wax and it will look like new Worked on several worn 'shiny' bits on my thumb when i bought it Quite tempted to field you an offer, but i may wait until your more interested in a cash sale.
6. The prices seem a little better than they did a few years ago, the late eighties ones seem to be up for sale and selling around the £1500 mark. Seem to make much more in private sales than on the 'bay. I would say around the £1200 mark would be a good price to ask, providing its in great condition, and see what offers he gets from that. I bought my 1990 for £1k about 18 months ago.
7. Interesting to see what goes on in Flea's head Nice little listen, but of course it will still get slated by many on here if nothing else because it is Flea
8. Lovely finish, picture won't do it justice, had a 5 string with this colour and a status neck, was stunning Worth noting that blue dawn was available for a few years but discontined and was brought back a a one off in 2007
9. Keep coming back to this....
10. what you want is the Bottle Rocket, fantastic pedal for bass. Wrong forum buddy, btw
11. Cash price?
12.
Because he's popular.
13. Great pedal, this. Picked one up a couple of weeks ago, great synthy fuzz tones.
14.
Hello there, Do you have any idea what wood the body is made of??? Thanks LLoydyG10
Unsure, solid wood but unsure, i would guess alder???
Very interested. What's the weight of the bass?
Don't have any scales, but i would estimate around the 8-9lb mark. Cheers
15. Pm'd
16. Externally on Photobucket? Thats my other method of choice
17. Rosewood grain looks pretty different in that magazine picture compared to the bass picture in my eyes...
18. Perhaps there is concern about the whole difference in body wood colour? Better pics would certainly help you, have you tried uploading by uploading them on here and attaching them to the post, or on an external website? FWIW, if i had the cash i would buy it at that price.
19.
Amazed this is still here, this is Rockbass money for a German made Corvette Proline with a hard case. Is it a wenge neck? I think they still used these in 1995, someone is going to get a great deal with this bass.
Yeah, Wenge neck. Just mental I just don't understand why Warwick bass sales are where they are.
20. A post by Andy Saxton on Facebook made me remember how good this bassist is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bB5Ryv_JYYw Like the music style or not, the energy in his playing as well as somewhat complex techniques at times makes me wonder how he isn't more well known than he is. Imagine a solo album!
21. This the standard rather than the Pro, i take it??
