1. Yeah, seems to be 17mm, i assume that is the norm for Fender types?
2. Recently received a bass in a trade and unfortunately two of the four tuners need to be replaced, so given it's an old Harmony i am not going to find like for like tuners anywere, so will be replacing all of them. Basically, i am not comfortable drilling my bass, and don't have the money to pay anyone to do it for me, so given that majority of tuners would require 4 new holes to be drilled, i have looked at alternatives. The Hipshot Ultralite would only need 1 hole to be drilled for each tuner, but they are very expensive for what they are. However today i have found these: http://www.ebay.co.u...#ht_5271wt_1397 does anyone have any experience with them? They are a bigger and no doubt not as fluid as the ultralites, and the screw is curiously at the top rather than the bottom (will this have an affect on the stability of the tuner?), however the price seems spot on. Recommendations?
3. are they reversible? i.e. will the work for 4 in a row as well as 2 x 2?
4. City Link have today managed to damage a Trace Elliot amp: Amp has clearly been dropped with a damaged outer casing, despite being marked Fragile, and with such force part of the innards have become loose and consequently the amp is now not working. Avoid like the plague.
5. Yeah, didn't work for me either last week. Assumed it was due to my intermittent internet connection, however it appears not!
6. Will now ship this for £100.00. Trade is currently pending however not yet finalised.
7.
To be completely honest its not a bad price for what it is. I played a raft of these new ones when Warwick got the first batch done and they were fantastic for the money. Only real problem is the lack of a curved body.
Missed the point though buddy, as nice a bass as it may be, he is advertising it as a Warwick, not a Warwick Rockbass
8. ....now read its only a year old, so its one of the new Rockbasses. Naughty listing!
9. Pretty sure that isn't a Rockbass........ Fairly sure Rockbasses have one piece maple necks and don't have the two piece bridge (apart from the new ones) Although weird the headstock isnt photographed.
10. pm's returned. Head still available, cab has been withdrawn.
11. PM's replied, both still available and both are COLLECTION ONLY! (now had a request for international shipping!). These are stupid cheap and i think i will withdraw them if they don't sell soon, getting silly now.
12. Both still available. Had a few requests for delivery, these are both collection only. Working full time gives me no chance to wait around for a courier collection, and given the loose part in the head i wouldn't want to ship it again. £80 for head, £100 for cab.
13. Some more pictures of the Trace Elliot head: As mentioned, the handle is broken, but this is still a stupid bargain for an old english classic.
14. You just won't find another bass for this or double this price that will match it, the wenge nacks are just fantastic. Idea of replacing this with a Fender is criminal! bump for an awesome instrument!
15. all pm's replied, sorry about delays. For now, still available
16. Not personally seen a dark stain version of this before, always been curious as to how these basses play and sound
