    would have been high even before wals were being made again, now that they are in production i cant see any reason why someone would consider that really, apart from maybe impatience.

    I'm sure there will be a fundamental reason. A reason no doubt similar to why the bass whammy hasn't been reissued. Might not pass modern health and safety tests. Components may no longer be available from supplier. Who knows. I'll be fairly shocked if you actaully get an answer.

    my opinion is that sellers should just have their real location under their avatar, confusion gone, and permeneant rather than having to say it in every sale thread...(not having a go at you jon, just generally speaking)

    i had the 5 string one, can't beleive that theres many basses in the price range that beat it tbh, lovely bass.

    shielding or earthing issue with your bass or cable. Try several different instrument cables to check its not that first.

    Came close to buying this off Al shortly after he built it. However iirc i think al was a little unsure about the action and finish on the bass, sadly it was a little too far away for me to come and try out first! Stunning bass from the pics, and id imagine it to be every bit as good as the madly overpriced bass it replicates

    i see the sr5 as a different bass altogether to the normal stingray, and so i love the body shape and design. This of course just looks like a 4 string with an extra string. If it sounds like a stingray 4, thats great. If it sounds like an sr5, its a step backwards imo
