1.
The Markbass site indicates that this pedal could be the most advanced synth bass pedal ever! I've gotta admit i'm not mad keen about the design of the box either but is it really a big issue? Don't judge a book by its cover! Unfortunately all we have to go off with this book is the cover at the mo. Grrr when am i gonna get to read a review/hear clips/read manual!!!
Exactly. Its very easy to imply that it is the best bass synth pedal ever, but will it actually deliver? Definitly need to try one out. IME listening to sound samples don't really give you an accurate indication of what a synth pedal can do. I was very much looking forward to the chunk synth, but after hearing the sound samples i was very dissapointed, but apparantly its a very good synth.
2. I cannot stand the ashdown pedals. Because these are a rip of their design (why!!!), it actually really puts me off even considering one, stupid as it is Who on earth thought it would be a good idea to put them in that sort of enclosure?
3. Not had any pm replies from Matty, so this is very much still available. Forgot to mention, the compressor is one of the best features of this, really, really good, and can get pretty damn squashy Heres a pic:
4. think they have one of these in rikaxxe music in bristol, think its a different colour to this though and a 5 string. It played very nicely Is this the one with the huge bridge in the body?
5. how much at risk would battery powered pedal be from rain?? i would have thought it was a pretty water tight.
6. wouldn't it be really, really easy to make yourself one of those ehx things?
7. sold mine for £80 last year, interesting pedal indeed, still not quite gone the way of the deep impact just yet. Much more likely to get a higher price in the USA, make sure your listing is worldwide
8. i assume that a trade for the hellbaby with my original bass pod wouldn't interest you?

11.
Maybe some of you should have followed the link before commenting. It was clearly a semi-serious record attempt held as part of a fund raising event for a regional kidney charity. Now who's got a small penis eh!
I see humour is lost in some people
Nice one Kev, what do you think of the Combo 300?
Very clean sound, and has a pretty powerful eq section which works really well It is LOUD, and it doesn't like backs
13. bump really don't need this at the moment, however its brilliant at what it does, great as a headphone amp too Not played through the XT version to compare it to, but other than interface i don't think there is much in it sound wise.
14. Good price, should shift fairly quickly i should think
15.
, I can't find any reference on the net (only crappy bass tab websites).

Bassmasta website.
Think he's after more

17. im currently using a powerpc iMac with very similar spec to this, works great and imo is the best looking computer ever made Notice you are running leopard on it, does it run well?? Im still running tiger, as i was wary of how leopard would perform sub 2gb ram...
18. Russian Big muff's are great bass pedals in general iv found, and iv gone through more than most Best for me was the Civil War Big Muff, the blue/grey russian one. Was just better than the green muff and embarrasses the black. The painted black one mentioned is pretty much the same as the later green ones, just black with 2 screws on top. The 4 screw latest edition is the weakest, but still very usable on bass. . The rams head is a good one for bass, and probably the only american one i would recommend. I did have a 70s op amp model that was okay, and sometimes you can get them cheap. The only muff i havn't owned is the original triangle one and the earlier no screws on top green one, that latter i imagine to be very similar to the civil war.
19. play Soul to Squeeze. Nail it and you should get an A
