Sounds suitably abnormal. I think there are a few different models, give me a web link of yours and il have a think. I think I would rather give it a few days to try and get a trade more like what I have suggested, consider me interested anymore offers? skills aside, i would choose to listen to flea over wooten any day of the week. I just find wooten to be pretentious and boring. Atop of that, flea was proabably my biggest influence to pick up a bass, and i know i wont be alone there. Surely thats enough to regard him a great playr if he inspires people to play? Thats what its all about for me, not playing amazing grace with harmonics....

Ok, trade wise I am looking for fuzz pedals, octavers (particularly the new mxr), and other synth esque stuff. I'd also be interested in a pigtronix filter too

Bought this to pair with my Hellbaby and as good as it is, i fancy something different Only around 150 of these made i believe, recently been reissued under a different brand. Its a great fuzz/overdrive hybrid pedal. The tone knob literally ranges from overdrive to fuzz, with the knob all to the left being muse esque fuzz, and all to the right being a heavy overdriven tone. Gain knob works as normal. A very unique pedal Looking to trade, no straight sale as i don't particularly want to sell it, just want to see whats out there. I will consider pretty much anything. Post here or wing me a pm.

i think its very important, as said i don't want to be spending £1k+ on a bass with shoddy build quality, no matter what it sounds and plays like! But lets reserve judgment until a non-prototype pic emerges.

afaik, his main distortion sound is a russian big muff, modified, and a human gear animato, run alongside clean bass. Plug in baby has some sort of filter going on, and hysteria is distorted bass alongside a roland synth, which is also used as a sample which chris plays over live. In short, you wont get an exact studio sound without heavy studio modification, and im sure you would have noticed chris's tone is pretty different live.

Just discovered these, anyone heard of them? www.mwfx.co.uk Seem to have some interesting designs going on! Pedals made of wood (or so it seems) seems a little interesting reliability wise, but the 8 bit and the Tape sound interesting, wave machine loses a little too much bass going by the sample...
