(TAB has it's place but it will help you in the long run if you learn the 'proper' notes and notation) ii) Find some guys to jam with, you will learn so much faster that way (and Bassists are always in demand) Good luck it's great
i completly disagree with i) and say tabs are the absolute best way to start learning songs nice bit of kit youv started yourself out on, have fun!

 3. okay, £22 posted, need to get this sold.
 4. the body needs to be scaled down, looks kinda rubbish as it is, but the concept is cool! A scaled down body would look awesome i think, go for it if your confident enough!!
 5. the whole bass looks cheap, and chances are they are gunna translate to £400 over here, £300 of which your paying for flea's signature. It will sell very well no doubt, but it will not be a £400 bass
 6. hang on for some more cash mate, that mint and gorgeous you can do better than £750 even in this climate, of course if your in a rush to sell thats a different matter...
 7.
If you look carefully at the pictures you can see his has better tuners. Just thought i'd mention it.
theres several with clover like tuners and several of the smaller type, fleas arnt anything different in the pic
 8. Il raise to £250, your even making £3 profit on this thing!
 9.
In the Bass player article Flea says he going to be using these basses exclusively!!! No jazz, modulus or stingrays to be seen...... But for how long?????
10.
well judging by his picture all over the website, I'd say they were very much endorsed by him....
i meant he wont be using one on stage, they look like basses for kids...
 11. hmmm, i hope they are cheap, who makes them?? They aint flea endorsed are they?
 12.
cheers dude id love that! Where is bassassin?, its not normally this long a japcrap thread stays this quiet! It def seems to be of a much higher quality than most. the brass plate under the pickups is very nicely wired up and the finish is much thinner than the modern thick ones.
he was the first replier
Do these actually sound that different to a Stingray or pretty much the same? Great looking bass.
iv owned both, and yeah the SUB pretty much nails it. Nice to see one for sale at a realistic price too I learnt to play on my old sub, and i highly recommend it!

 18.
lets not critic the seller and his price too much. he can charge what he wants. you, me, president obama and your mum may think that it's too much but saying it damages his sale if other people are prepared to pay for it.
correct me if im wrong, but nobody has said that he is asking too much, people have commented that him raising the price after getting no interest is a bit bizzare
 19. if you can pick it up from bristol,. il drop to £150.
 20.
Ive only recently started using fx, and im not sure if there is a better way to use my pedals Atm i have, in this order of setup Amt Slap Bass>>Red Llama Clone>>EBS Octabass>>Behringer Delay>>Ashdown Envelope Plus (replacing my micro qtron)>>Morley Dual wah. ive also added a line6 bass pod. im not sure where to put that either and my amp does not have an fx loop. any ideas?
Hmm. I would put the octabass first so it gets the cleanest signal, then the red llama as it sounds better going into pedals rather than other pedals going into it, then id have the wah, then the ashdown filter, then the amt slap bass, then the delay
 21.
Burke Shelley.
i think a certain flea owes alot to that riff
