well, i took the plunge. Tried it again today and decided it was worth it, cracking little bass

yeah as i said i was impressed and it did easily match the MIM (and was a lot lighter too), just really inquiring about build quality really.

Tried one of these in the local soundcontrol/reverb yesterday, and was impressed with it. Played easily as well as the fender mim i a/b'd it with, but with a slightly weaker pickup. Otherwise its great, and against what i thought i really like the relic finish on it. However, for £199 im not sure whether its worth it, partly because im sure theres better on the second hand market for that price, and partly because as soon as i set foot outside the shop, it will halve in value! Anyone else got one? Iv seen quite a bit about the jaco esque vintage, but not too much about the P.

RATM is one of my favourite albums ever, you so rarely get so much passion locked into a music track like that, one of the only albums iv listened to that i can truly say blew me away.

haha, i can tell you its full history actually. Rob bought it originally off ebay, then i bought it off Rob. I then sold it to Nick (on here, non bristol), who then sold it back to Rob. Rob then sold to you, and now you could be selling it back to me! We'll see

had alot of people confused about the spec, so il clear it up. AFAIK, this is the model released in January 2009. The spec is identical to the spec on this page: [url="http://www.apple.com/uk/macbook/specs.html"]http://www.apple.com/uk/macbook/specs.html[/url], the only difference being the processer running at 2ghz, and the hard drive being 120gb. hope this helps! -
Up for sale i have a white macbook. early 2009 model factory spec (the model before the current model), so itl be as it is on the website only with a 2ghz processor and 120gb hard drive : [url="http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/shop_mac/family/macbook?mco=MTE2NTQ"]http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/shop...ook?mco=MTE2NTQ[/url] Its in near mint, bar a few unavoidable surface scratches on outer casing, certainly nothing visible without looking for them, and comes with all the stuff it came with, software cd's etc. I currently have it loaded with numerous software, all fully working (logic express, aperture, final cut express, Adobe photoshop cs4 suite, Microsoft 0ffice 2008, iWork 09, Parallels desktop), all of which downloaded rather than purchased ( ) , but if the software doesn't interest you il fully wipe the hard drive before i sell. Unsure of a price, i would guess around £500 plus shipping would be fair. It was purchased a few months ago, so it will still have around half a year left on the 1 year guarantee. if anyone is still looking, i may have a Macbook white 2009 model for sale. May not have the unibody but does have the firewire port . Great computer, but i want to start playin bass again, and i already own an imac so this is up for the chop. pm me if interested!
