    i think 60 would be about right for a mint guvnor, but my experience with ebay is that they vary a LOT, they have gone for as low as £35 that i know of, but sometimes they do go £60+.

But yeah the ECC82 is what you want, which you should find cheaper as they are not as sought after

    mullard 12ax7?? Had one in a dha pedal i used to own, VASTLY improved the tone Obviously long discontinued, but you should be able to pick one up on ebay for £20 odd, just make sure it has been tested.

    i briefly owned the 4 string version of this earlier this year, got it for an absolute bargain, lovely bass with a very fast neck. I bet this is rather good too, don't let the wooden neck fool you, they are great status basses
