1. Just this left now, rest have sold. Vesta ovd overdrive distortion pedal. been flirting with selling this for a while. See here for description/pictures: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=39897&hl=vesta It is a very good pedal, much more of a distortion than an overdrive. No low end loss with bass turned up, plenty of gain available and the eq allows for many different voices of distortion. A cracking little japcrap gem of a pedal. Seen better days but in good nik. [s]£30[/s] now £22 shipped. Couple of guys iv emailed about the vesta and the pulse synth already, so they have first dibs, but il keep this updated. cheers
2. if you like the feel of it, go for the upgrades! both olp 5 models i have owned felt pretty cheap and nasty to me, particularly the second one, probably because i was directly comparing it to my stingray. But hey, if it feels great for you, stick a nord in there, and a john east pre and you'll have a cracker
3. emergency on planet earth - jamiroquai
4. just as i was considering popping you a pm its gone up to £350 on ebay, so i guess that means a sale on ebay now then rather than here??
5. really, you can stick anything under there, provided its firm enough to support the pickup, but soft enough so that you can move it up and down as you like
6. as a stone roses fan, consider me also a watcher
7. think he is after £280, looks a nice bit of bass
8. unlucky man, good on ya for getting that far though. Probably best you didnt get any further, talent rarely wins the program ironically, you would only have been beaten in the final by a rather talented dog or other such nonsence, good effort!
9. i dunno mate, but the way things are at the moment, i wouldnt mod one as they are going for silly money on ebay at the moment, keep it original unless you are 1000% sure you aint gunna sell any time soon
10. yeah, no player in a right state of mind would buy it to gig it, for alot of reasons, but its a pretty serious collectors item and you'll get someone willing to pay it.
11. pm'd
12. mate pm a mod to get this moved, alot of people will miss this
13.
Out of interest, have you asked Rob Green for an estimate to restore it? If it's a reasonable amount it may help shift it to someone willing to have the work done. Also (& off topic) - your DP Osbourne, does it have a battery compartment on the back?

I've spoken to Rob at Status and he quoted about £300 to have the neck re-epoxied, fret dress, new strings and a setup.
14. ha i remember this on ebay, came very close to buying it, lovely
15. looks genuine, but hate the look of that control plate with 2 jacks on it! a little too beat up for my taste
16.
Wow, while looking saw this. Didn't Kev just pay £220 for one? There's a red one and a GT5 too. 17. ...and picked up today, cheers Joe
18. one way to look at it is your either getting the top end squier bass, or the bottom end fender, i know which id rather go for
19. if it was me, id go for one of the classic vibe squiers, they look fantastic.
20. it might break your heart to do it, but i think your best bet to get as much cash as possible is gunna be to take it apart and sell the parts, she's lovely though
21. couldnt make northhampton, to out of the way, but if a birmingham (or bristol ) bash arose, i could probably make that
22. onboards win it for me, largely because i just dont like passive basses. A onboard preamp with an active/passive switch is the best option any bass can have, imo.
23. im very tempted to buy it back, super pedal it was the second built, but it was the first one ever ordered, the one that was built before it was completed so that the standard model had been made (this has a custom paint job)
