1.
I had to read this one twice just to make sure what was being offered - £10 for a single screw. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fender-Jazz-parts-19...emZ250363558622 Presumably there's going to be another 9 of these up for sale at some point. Collect all 10!
okay, crazy as it is i understand people paying big money for parts to make their 60's bass original again, but screws?? how in the hell can he say that is from what he says its from, it could be a screw from anywere!!
2.
Let me get this right! 1. You are willing to sell the `original' bass with wooden neck on here for 750 2. You are willing to sell the bass complete with Status neck on here for 800 Thus, the price differential is £50 and yet you mention the Status neck is available for 190 and you've already got a buyer interested. Can I have the Status neck for £50 then ??? Nick * * confused of Peterboro - and you forgot my offer of cakes!
The bass with status neck instead of wooden neck is £800. The bass with both necks is £910. You get a discount on the status neck by buying the whole lot. Clear? and im good for cakes
3. All pm's have been replied to. Price drop bump Bass in now on ebay with its original neck: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=320335215085 £750 posted to basschat members. This would mean that the status neck is for sale seperatly for £190 posted, although i already have an interested party. The bass with status neck is still for sale for £800 shipped.
4.
theres no point in buying a ferrari to drive to work.
bump
5. cheapest sansamp ever?? Billy bargain
6. there should really be a GAS support group
7. how has budget bassist's bongo alarm not gone off yet!!
8. pm'd for second time
9.
+1 to all of that. I've just picked up a really nice Stingray for £600, which compares well to used prices a year or two ago. And this one is surprisingly light - nowhere near as heavy as my Warwicks. I would also compare 2 band and 3 band EQ stingrays. The one I've just got is 2 band and to my ears sounds much more ''Stingray'' than the 3 band I owned previously.
i would definatly try both a 3eq and a 2eq stingray. I dont think id be satisfied with a 2eq, i find myself using the mid eq knob more than the other 2!
10. Firstly, they are nothing at all alike. I have owned both. The dha IMO is best for adding a low gain valve dirt tone to your bass, and it does it very, very well.
11. If anyone does particularly want it and cant collect, let me know as im sure i can scout out a box, iv pretty much firmly decided i dont need this amp so im more willing to ship
12. Kev

sold

with the pound being so weak at the moment, i think pretty much everyone is going to avoid buying from overseas unless its really something special
13.
+ 1 on the ODB-3. It's a great pedal, now loss of low end at all, infact it ADDS it, and i think it is a very versatile and good sounding overdrive unit. AND THEYRE DIRT CHEAP!!!!
second hand yes. Much as i like them, their 'new' price is not something i would want to pay
14. i think it is certainly not all in the title, at all. There are many, many, MANY different types of overdrive and distortion out there. What kind of tone are you after???
15. your selling it already?? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...hl=$$
16. i'm using elixers at the moment, the same set for 6 months, but i kinda want a zing again so im probably get some good old ernie balls soon
17. how are these things dated??? and how is a buyer assured that he isnt buying fakes??
18. good stuff, the most obvious one i think Who needs a new black president when changes like these are happening
19. its a shame, i like the idea of this thread, but im still seeing overpriced listing threads being made in the forum..... 20. crazy as it is, im really temted to buy the dha, despite selling pretty much the exact same model pedal a short while ago, i need a preamp...
21.
ya my settings are bass full, mid full, treble off that is the problem
yeah itl almost certainly be the bass being full thats the problem Just boost the bass using your amp instead
22. its the bass eq on the musicman that might be causing it, several effect iv owned in the past have distorted if iv had the bass boosted too much
23.
I honestly don't see what the fuss is about with all these fenders. To me a squier vintage modified jazz is a good bass, and paying £800 for a VERY similar passive bass with a simple JJ configuration just doesn't make sense to me when you could have something far far better.
welcome to the madness that is Vintage world
