1. i dunno mate, but the way things are at the moment, i wouldnt mod one as they are going for silly money on ebay at the moment, keep it original unless you are 1000% sure you aint gunna sell any time soon
2. yeah, no player in a right state of mind would buy it to gig it, for alot of reasons, but its a pretty serious collectors item and you'll get someone willing to pay it.
3. pm'd
4. mate pm a mod to get this moved, alot of people will miss this
5.
Out of interest, have you asked Rob Green for an estimate to restore it? If it's a reasonable amount it may help shift it to someone willing to have the work done. Also (& off topic) - your DP Osbourne, does it have a battery compartment on the back?

I've spoken to Rob at Status and he quoted about £300 to have the neck re-epoxied, fret dress, new strings and a setup.
6. ha i remember this on ebay, came very close to buying it, lovely
7. looks genuine, but hate the look of that control plate with 2 jacks on it! a little too beat up for my taste
8.
Wow, while looking saw this. Didn't Kev just pay £220 for one? There's a red one and a GT5 too. 9. ...and picked up today, cheers Joe
10. one way to look at it is your either getting the top end squier bass, or the bottom end fender, i know which id rather go for
11. if it was me, id go for one of the classic vibe squiers, they look fantastic.
12. it might break your heart to do it, but i think your best bet to get as much cash as possible is gunna be to take it apart and sell the parts, she's lovely though
13. couldnt make northhampton, to out of the way, but if a birmingham (or bristol ) bash arose, i could probably make that
14. onboards win it for me, largely because i just dont like passive basses. A onboard preamp with an active/passive switch is the best option any bass can have, imo.
15. im very tempted to buy it back, super pedal it was the second built, but it was the first one ever ordered, the one that was built before it was completed so that the standard model had been made (this has a custom paint job)
16.
Yeah but how high are your trousers? Simon Cowell or Mini Me?
who says i was wearing them.....
17. my buckle roughly touches my bass just below the neck plate, which is perfect for me
18. 4.5k for a wal... man i wish i was older and bought several of these in the 80's, id be bloody rich!!
19. this question or similar is asked so many times, and the answer will always be the same. You need to try it before you buy one, as with any fender bass. I find fenders vary too much to say one particular model is 'better' than another. Im sure several owners of mims have tried US basses and preffered their own, and visa versa, just as im sure people who own cij/mif basses think theirs blows all others out the water. I think im right in saying that all fenders really benefit from a good setup? Perhaps when properly set up US basses are the better bass and worth the extra money, however if that is the case i am yet to play a 'properly set up' us fender
20. the pics arnt visible anymore, they have been moved or deleted??
21. Oh. My. God. what are people on how can plywood be worth this much
22. Sorry, i just don't understand why he is playing a bass rather than a guitar.
23. Old skool japanese distortion pedal. Produces some nice subtle fuzzy grit to all out balls to the wall fuzz. The 3 band eq on the pedal makes it very flexible, and with the low eq boosted, there is no low end loss whatsoever. A very, very good pedal which you dont see very often. The footswitch is a bit flappy, but it works just fine. Solid metal construction. im after a more overdriven tone rather than fuzz, so im looking to sell or trade this for a bass overdrive. Im not interested in a fuzz or high gain distortions, just an overdrive. Cash price would be £30 shipped, but i would prefer to trade (with cash likely coming your way) cheers its the black pedal in the centre of the pic:
