So i thought, rather than have a million different threads saying 'oo this is too expensive', i though it would be a good idea to have 1 thread were various links could be put in to overpriced items that don't warrant a seperate thread. sorry i misread your post, i thought you were after something subtle [b]and[/b] insane. In that case, the bad monkey is great for adding some grit. The pd-7's modes were a cool idea, but they didnt pull if off for me, just [i]too[/i] clicky, reminded me of fieldy's "tone" :wacko:

try them both out at a music shop, they are both very marmite pedals. Some people hate the odb-3, mainly because they use it wrong (its best at low gain with the highs cut) but i think its great. But if your after 'insane' fuzz, i dont think either are suitable, perhaps consider a muff of some sort?

i just nabbed a boss ls-2 and its a great blender, no tone suck at all in my setup, and more flexible than alot of the more boutique blenders out there

id be tempted to say less, about £450

hmm, sounds too complex, i think it would be just much easier making subforums for various categories, that could be decided by the mods or members via a poll.

here is my little home setup: BLX is the main amp, the little practice amp and speakers/subwoofer are my low wattage speakers, and the little mixer on the board connect everything

is there any real reason why the sales forums cannot be seperated into many subforums, like say the Basschat Affiliates forum is?? It would obviously greatly reduce the need to bump, i mean it could even get as detailed as a 4 string bass subforum and a 5 string bass subforum, maybe a little ott but as i say is there any reason why not?? I cant imagine it would be any more difficult to moderate, just alot more organised.

some players like them, some players don't, kinda the subject of the thread. I respect (most) of the players you mentioned, but i still think Fender are way overated.

the family reserve models just arn't stingrays to me, they're not supposed to look like that in my opinion, of course

how much do these usually go for then?? Iv always associated musicmasters as being the vintage fender that doesn't cost the earth
