im pretty sure muscle museum is the bass line and a piano, the bassline being heavily compressed as tom said, with a nice bit of overdrive in the chorus

Anyone wanting to sell their 'ray id advise unless they need quick money NOT to lower their price without giving it a good few weeks on here or ebay, chances are you might get more than you think

the SUB 100%, but i dont like jazz's so im biased... however, my first bass was a squier jazz, it lasted me 2 months before i got the SUB, and that lasted me 14..... my 2 cents

i was thinkin of john easting my stingray, but id lose the pickup switch functionality iv been told, would there be any way round that??

im not sure about how large the difference is with these, but i know when i changed my 5 for £5 effect patch cables to george l's and cordials, there was a definate improvement in my tone

i grabbed a hondo p from the local cc, got it for fek all, took it home and realised it had a banana for a neck, brilliant... but amazingly i got cc to refund me!

theres a couple of ray owners on here that have nordstrands, obbm's ray 5 has one iirc
