"These basses were limited edition and are no longer in production. You can only get them in standard form and not deluxe."
he's sayin they only do standard precisions now, no more deluxes like this one....i think
2.
Very nice, but has it been fitted with an aftermarket preamp?

active passive switch ??

It is the 3-band EQ model and it also features an active/passive pull switch on the volume knob
sounds like its just been modded for the pull switch on the volume knob, original preamp
3. f***, didnt think he'd accept that low

NEW Roland Vbass
Just scored one of the older units from fleabay for £175!!! No pickup with it but even so I think that's a bargain. Am I OK to pick your brains Ped if I need some help setting it up?
yup was watching that from when it was first listed, me n ped both thought it was good for £300, good effort, if i could afford it i would have!
6. the other pics it looks superb in that last pic
7. have several more pics now, seems lovely, any ideas on whether the price is right?? don't know what they are worth
8. had an artec analog delay, very nice pedal indeed, oscillates wonderfully very good for the money
9. i very much like that, iv emailed him anyways...
10. i certainly wood (), i would find it very useful, especially on jazz type basses fwiw, im a fingerer and a slapper (no twists please!)
11. oh yess, i do have a little chuckle when i see the occasional patch on a student on the dance floor when im working behind the bar even funnier if it wasnt there earlier in the night
12. exxxxxxxactly
13. don't buy anything new until you have sold something to the same/greater amount although thats not really a new year resolution, iv been doing that since september...
14.
You're all talking bollox. It's an official ltd edition release of a head Ampeg made as Gene Simmons signature model. He didn't 'personally' sign it, but it is a printed facsimile of an autograph he did for them. I wouldn't buy it though.... it's just a normal Ampeg with a slightly different frontage....
we arnt on about the amp, im on about the bass link posted in the first post.... the amp pic was for comparing signatures
15. don't quote me, but i would image if they are blade magnets as you said, there will be no problem
16. if you have a cash offer dont hold back i'd just rather not part with this bass until i know i have another.
17.
What and have Kev and the other price nazi's jump down my throat saying they saw one in a gutter recently with a £20 price tag on it. I think not
please tell me when i last critisized anyone about having a high price, im most intrigued
18. the effort put into that listing is pathetic.
19.
The muff is famed for it. Chino from Seerkind (sings in my band) loves his muff but it doesn't agree with actives.
big muffs work absolutly fine with active basses, no issues at all with the 4 different versions iv owned with several active basses
20.
So brilliant you flirt with selling yours every 2 weeks?
perhaps you didnt enjoy the full student experience
21. ray 5's are brilliant, you wont look back
22. well bristol is seen as the 'captial' of the southwest, along with maybe plymouth, so those two places would be the easiest to get to, and since bristol is in reachable distance of midlands people too, id say bristol. If its not in bristol, unless theres a mainline train station chances are i wont be able to come, same reason i couldnt make it to the SE bass bash
23. oh deary, deary me.
24. if its in bristol i will certainly be coming and il be bringing along my stati-ray and a couple of pedals. Pending how close it is to me i might be able to bring the blx amp, but thats unlikely
