knabbed his hand built red llama copy, very nice! good guy
4. from what you have just said it sounds like you should be selling the flea, not this
5. make one yourself, they're piss easy to make
6. btw, dont ask about the drill holes in the wreck of a looper, i was experimenting haha!
7. bout time i had something of a board again, not much mind, and it could all change again by this time next week!
8. this may be withdrawn, the red llama clone being driven by this makes a superb fuzz sound, i just gotta work out whether its worth £90 il decide by friday, cheddatom has first refusal
9. i read a review sayin that it actually wasnt really suited to bass at all, and it distorts quite easily, does this happen?? or did the person just have a dodgy one
10. probably not old at all, i imagine it was drilled 4 bolt to match an old stingray. these necks do not come predrilled, they are drilled to fit your bass, either by sending it to them (not cheap) or doing it yourself. this neck would cost around £400 new and fitted
11. how are you using the mxr, as a distortion or a di
12. you should get enough in the US for it mate, but because of the current economic climate i dont think you'll get a sale anywere else, least of all the UK, give talkbass a go
13. if you fancied a trade for the byoc blue beaver im selling let me know
14. that looks a stella price, should be snapped up
15. i think im gunna buy a pitchblack, reverb do 'em for £50, coolio
16.
Hanging round the local bus garage writing down numbers doesn't count I'm afraid.
damn. you got me.
17. the main reason that puts me off the new trace gear is the price of it compared to the old stuff, but iv never played through a new one so i dunno how the sounds compare
18. no sound clips im afraid, decided the one i uploaded just didnt represent the pedal well enough unfortunatly, bloody laptop! bump
19. i think anyone buying that needs to seek medical help. they would never add that kinda value to a 60's jazz even if it does restore it to complete original condition, surely?
20. i can say the trace is a great compressor, however i found it to sometimes be slightly overloaded by my bass, which at the time was a pretty powerful p bass special with emg's and aggy pre (yes that one), even with the input gain right down.
