1. bump, come on people even if you just need a headphone practice amp or a recording interface, this is a great value unit!
2. it has a colour switch and ge and si clipping, neither of which mine had
3. oh yeah they are superb basses, but iirc their rrp's are half that of actual stingrays
4. so exactly what you were after then, considering no trades unless it was a sunburst p or j
5.
Meh, lots of people list them for stupid prices, they're £600-£650 new, so why shouldn't they be £500 in good condition used? They're worth every bit of the money i think, it's just a bad market is all.
indeed, il sell my stingray with its wooden neck for £1400 tomorrow then (listed at £1500 when new), and while im at it il shift my status neck at £300 (£400 fitted new) with current stingray prices being around £500- £600, the mind boggles as to why sub's would be selling for any more than £300 at the moment, IMO of course Edit: actually after saying that, looking at completed listings, it seems the stingray is going back up in value again, prices have been from around £600 - £800 for a regular standard 'ray, cool

lol im likely not to sell now as iv said, im just leaving it open just in case btw, the graphite neck will make you adore your stingray, massive improvement as iv raved about all over the forum, and no its pretty unlikely your modulus flea neck would fit your ray
17. i didnt really like the neck profile, i found it to be too flat, i like something nice n thick to grab on to usually (fnar fnar!) i didn't own mine long enough to get to know it really. cant comment on the tone knob as mine didnt work due to dodgy electronics, but apparantly according to doctorofthebass, its just a treble boost?

i bought the olp 5 string modified with the status neck, which was owned by ped and dr funk amongst others, and swapped the necks so the blue dawn had the status neck and the olp had the original stingray neck. then i ended up selling the olp body as i didnt play it, so now im left with the stingray and 2 necks. in the likliness that im gunna keep the stingray now, and i manage to properly get the 5 string thing right, il probably buy a new bass body to fit the original neck
