4. i think im gunna buy a pitchblack, reverb do 'em for £50, coolio
5.
Hanging round the local bus garage writing down numbers doesn't count I'm afraid.
damn. you got me.
6. the main reason that puts me off the new trace gear is the price of it compared to the old stuff, but iv never played through a new one so i dunno how the sounds compare
7. no sound clips im afraid, decided the one i uploaded just didnt represent the pedal well enough unfortunatly, bloody laptop! bump
8. i think anyone buying that needs to seek medical help. they would never add that kinda value to a 60's jazz even if it does restore it to complete original condition, surely?
9. i can say the trace is a great compressor, however i found it to sometimes be slightly overloaded by my bass, which at the time was a pretty powerful p bass special with emg's and aggy pre (yes that one), even with the input gain right down.
10.
At least its ony £29 I am dropping! I shudder to think over the years how much my bass and amp losses amount to
thats why i pretty much never buy new
11. the rosewood neck ruins it for me, but iv always hated black/brown combinations. if that had an ebony board (or a phenolic board with carbon neck ) it would luck stunning. and bongo's are brilliant instruments

The grinder

so anyone else get the barge email?? the meatball clone is out, $360, who's gunna take the plunge?
13. the bottomfeeder is especially for bass
14.
f*** it, I'm selling the TU-2 and getting a Pitchblack - check this out
does he say 'input for your guitar or kettle'?!
15.
This thread annoys you? You need to get out more.
im fairly sure i 'get out' more than you
16. ah okay that would make sense, cheers
17. now fully for sale, no longer a feeler £50 shipped, recorded. trades for same value or cash from my end, WHY
18. would i be able to use this preamp before my trace amp without any problems?? i mean would switching the eq and mid shape off on my combo, would this work well??
19. this thread annoys me. why dont you actually try and put some effort into selling it?? better pictures, describe its sound, why dont you want it anymore, what trades are you looking for, how is the condition, how old is it, how many owners before you..... should i go on??? this is an expensive bit of kit, you cant expect to sell it without a bit of effort!
20. the standard monkey is great. i think joe who bought it off me loves it too
21. i bought a vintage japanese distortion unit last week and have been completley blown away by it, and i prefer it to this, and i cant really justify having both, which is gutting as this is THE coolest looking pedal i have ever owned bought of mr pablo very recently from here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...6&hl=beaver MB's blurb: Its built to Rams head era specs with a 4 way tone selector to give you std muff tone, flat response, mid boost and the final position takes the tone control out of the way. Tis an awwesome pedal made better by having Martin Owen do a few mods on the pedal for me. my take: its like a muff with proper tone control probably best way i can put it. sounds great with the mods, low end is more in your face, which is always cool! i prefer the tone selecter in standard mode, but the others are very useable. very well made and as iv said looks superb. blue LED to finish it off! £50 shipped, no other cash offers please. Certainly would be interested in trades, il listen to anything
22. b2.1u, cannot be matched for value
23. my advice would be to buy the replacement pickups, and then try to sell the bass BEFORE selling the lane poors that way nothing can go wrong
24. yeah its a 10 inch, and iirc they did an 80w and a 150w with a tweeter after they did the original 80w and 130w series
