be careful mate, i considered selling my stingray 5's original neck when i upgraded, but decided against it as it would seriously effect the value of the stingray. only sell it if your gunna keep the ray and its status neck, id at least wait until its all fitted and your happy with it. you'll lose alot of cash if you sell the stingray with the status neck in the future -
i particularly like the look of it, and iv never been blown away by the tone of peaveys, i was only interested coz of the graphite neck, meh and yeah i am, why?

i bid on that peavey, but i aint paying over £300 for it, much as i want it

bass synth wah is a glorified envelope filter, not a great synth sound at all really imo bms would be a decent choice i guess, try one though.

how does trying a piece of gear tell you what the market price is likely to be?? i monitor the second hand market alot when it comes to effects, having owned and sold so many myself in the past, iv never nor will i ever claim to be an 'expert on gear i havn't tried'. i just like to think that i have a pretty good idea on good prices in the second hand effects market, and id probably say this sold for a decent price, but by no means was it a bargain. sorry if iv caused offense

man that sucks, with ebay fees your only gunna get £900, and if youv been paid by paypal, even less im sure it would have gone in no time if you would have advertised on the forum at £900!

not the way things work though mate in the buy/sell world, the buyer always pays before getting, and thats true for pretty much everything. you dont go the supermarket and eat the food, then pay. you dont go online to a music site, and get them to send you a bass, n then pay when it arrives, just not the way it goes. i know what you mean on the trust thing though, and i think everyone knows about my ideas to keep basschat classifieds safe
