1. ye i think i was one of the first people to use these on here, great company, had a lovely double looper from them
2. think theres some for sale in the other forum
3. can you also ask Rob what his opinions are on the plight of the wrinkled ball sack?
4. this is just a highway 1 precision, as advertised
5.
I touched a raw nerve when i asked if she would mind posting her response to my question about the bass "So you would appreciate me posting the fact that IN YOUR OPINION the bass is not a Fender. This wouldn't be so you can bid on it and get it at a fraction of it's worth would it? I have described the bass as accurately as possible and included large close up pictures so that those interested in it can bid what it is worth to them. My son bought it about 20 years ago in its present condition for about £500 but never got it restored. I trust this answers your questions" It didn't actually answer my question as it happens, as I never said it wasn't a Fender but I guess the fact that it was pulled did answer a few questions!
i got pretty much the exact same response from her about the whole 'me tryin to get a bargain' thing! she reckons her son bought that hunk of sh*t in that condition in the eighties for £500!!! she needs to share her crack
6. by the way, she's strung with elixirs currently, bloody awesome strings
7. i reported her to ebay , and looks like the listing has been pulled, and she has been deleted from ebay; i was emailing her (him) asking about it n why her title says fender and she emailed me back a few times, latest email igot an email reply off her and then got an email off ebay saying dont reply to the email as it didnt come from ebay or sumit con con con
8. this is your amp, not anyone elses, if you love the sound of the EBS then you go for it,dont change your mind becuase other peple say they don't like it, its YOUR amp
9. i agree actually, its not like its a modern fender copy that people are mistaking for the real thing, its a vintage fender, the kinda people that would bid on something as beat up as this are bidding because they know something about vintage fender and their worth, and they are trying to get a bargain. pity they cant tell a real fender headstock from that horrible lump of wood at the end of that stick in that listing

make sure you get a full review up once you get it!
11. your sig says blx 260 watt?? that amp doesnt exist
12. how interesting
13. by that i meant i would never put the wooden neck back on the stingray, and i would certainly take that bet
14.
Very nice, matsumoku made some quality stuff and yours and all the other matsumoku arias/westones that are still going strong seem to be testament to that. I'd rather like a westone thunder 1A... Also it's a full 1 years older than me that
i thought you were 17, not 27
15. i have the blx130, great amps, Merton is currently making me a 1x8 extension for it too they may be heavy buggers, but they are bloody loud for their wattage, very good amps, that cab design really works good luck with sale mate
16. look at the questions as well, someone has said its worth £1500, i think its gunna go for alot more no point in reporting to ebay as theres nothing to report, its a perfectly legite sale, shes not said its a 60's fender, shes just hinted
17. f*** very clever listing, im not sure if the title will mess him up as in the title he's actually said its a fender, but in the description he's just said its from 60's with fender on headstock either way, someone is paying too much for this, reckon he's a con or not? if he is, its clever and its worked, lets hope the bidding doesnt get too high
18. i love it, as has been said the graphite neck makes a massive difference, i dont think i could go back to wooden now
19. okay, gone with the wooden neck, in with the graphite pictures dont do it justice, it just looks stunning the sound has improved just as much as well, just generally 'better', more growl, more highs, more defined lows etc etc, amazing apologies for laptops terrible soundcard (it actually wont even let me use overdrive without farting out )
who knows, this could be a green muff reissue after all! ??? excuse my stupidity...but what do you mean?
the green russian big muff from the 90's is known to be the best for bass, im hoping that this pedal could be a similar circuit
21.
Judging from this and your previous posts enquiring about various basses, you seem to be in the market for a J-type bass with about £2000 to spend? That's a massive market that encompasses everything from SX right through Fender, Bacchus on to Sadowsky, Lull and beyond to Fodera and Celinder. As you are probably finding just about every bass manufacturer/luthier offers something in J-type which can make the choice a little overwhelming... Once you are going to spend £1000 upwards you're very unlikely to get a bad bass, however you might not get the right bass for you. Unless you have disposable cash about to order without playing or you are prepared to trade your way through the basses that don't do it for you until you find "THE ONE", you are going to need to go and play some basses to figure out what appeals and what doesn't. Start by taking a day trip to London and spend some time at The Gallery. You might find what you like but even if you don't you'll have a better idea then just looking at pictures on web sites.
+1

who knows, this could be a green muff reissue after all!
23. bump, had some interest but nothing solid yet price drop to £110 shipped including both valves and the power supply, or £100 without the Mullard, i will NOT go any lower than this
24.
I seriously can get a pick sound with my fingers. I'll try and do some sound samples, but it'll be a while before I can.
with or without nails?
