in my hugggggggge 2 years of playing i have owned:
Fender Squier standard jazz bass: nice enough bass, cant remember much of it, only took me 2 months to reaslise i wanted something active
Musicman SUB 4: i LOVED this bass, i basically learned using it, had it for about 18 months, looked dynamite with black on black and rosewood neck

Peavey Grind 6: my first 6 strings, thought id give it a go! great bass for the money, sold it last week to fund another bass.

OLP MM3: i owned this very briefly, nice enough bass, sounded okay but just felt a bit cheap, stingray's shouldnt be passive

'Contreversial' Fender customised PJ bass: yep you know the one... aggy preamp with emg's, looked fantastic, but i think i always preffered the way it looked to the way it sounded, still a great bass.
Hudson PBS 6: FANTASTIC active string bass. i LOVE it so much, and im probably going to buy the 5 string version again when i have the cash. brilliant bass to play, very light and the spalt maple is fantastic! gutted i had to sell it for funds.

Westfield Jazz Bass: My first project, bough it to mod the hell out of it! i replaced the neck, pickups, bridge and knobs, and added a pickup cover, it sounded and looked great! but againnnn passive jazzes i dont think are for me
Musicman Stingray 5 'Blue Dawn': My baby, easily the best bass out of the lot, the finish is just gorgeous, and it sounds superb combined with my dave hall pedal and a bit of zoom reverb, superb, will take something very special to make me sell this!

Status-Graphite Energy 4: my latest acquisition, bit of a bargain from ebay, needs a bit of a service on the electronics, but other than that its a lovely bass, very comfortable and nice to play, and the LED's just top off the look!
thats quite alot for 2 years, isnt it........
