1. well iv only ever owned 9 basses altogether, and currently have 2! when you fall down a 6ft hole, who gets the basses? (personally i think they should be raffled off on basschat )
2. Kev

Sold

the exact colour scheme i would choose if i was buying a fender jazz or precision, gorgeous bass
3. il expect my 10% through the post tomorrow then, shall i?
4.
Don't think we've had a spangly blue one yet, so here's mine. Bought in 2000 and I haven't looked at another bass since
nice bass dude! is that sparkle paint or just metallic? if its a sparkle what colour is it? looks like metallic blue pearl but i could be wrong...
5.
depending on what 'pick' sound you're looking for but it may be worth trying out a Musicman bass or similar - I've heard those get a pick like attack with fingerstyle ? But yeah - persevere with the pick itself - a lot cheaper !
no, they don't, unless you attack with your fingers really hard and you use your nails, but thats the same with every bass i dont think you will ever get anything to sound like your using a pick unless you actually use a pick.
6.
i want this, i have the cash, i just dont know how im going to get to wales? anyone got ideas?
speedboat
7. you'll have to decide on a price mate, or you'll have limited interest. how much did you pay for it?
8.
i dont rate interparcel parcel2go are the cheapest iv come accross
i compeltly take that statement back, i got interparcel confused with another company, interparcel are in fact rather good
9. take your coat and get out
10. the mullard valve supplied with it cost me £23 on top of that, which means i spent £143 for it, and the pedal is in the same condition as it was when it left dave hall, mint. considering that im selling for £25 less than dave hall does new, without a 3 week waiting time, and the best ax7 preamp valve you can buy, id say it was a great price please pm me with any more price queries next time
11. i like it, clever name imo that red one looks lovely
12. Kev

Hey all!

welcome dude!
13. no worries mate, cheers
14. karma for trying to buy a girls instrument get a stingray man! and really, dont go through with that, dodgy as a nun in a brothel
15.
Yes that's exactly what I meant! If you post the serial on the EB forum, they will tell you what day it was completed Mine was completed on the 12th July 2002 and sent to Bass Northwest
indeed first thing i did when i got it, august 19th or 21st 2001, cant remember which
16. give ernie ball a quick email with the serial number, they will tell you what month it was builit in plus if you take the neck off, a date stamp can be found on the neck pocket (tis on mine anyways)
17. not as common as fenders or their copies! id like to hope my ray is the only one like it, the blue dawn finish is pretty damn rare anyways, so im fairly confident mine is the only one with a status graphite neck
18. tbh mate rather than it just being not able to hold on to gear, i think i just getting bored of effects now, im finding myself preffering my clean tone more and more. il be holding on to my stingray for a long, long time, i gurantee you that
19. not sure iv ever heard a passive wal before...how do they compare?
20. i'v decided i prefer the clean tone of my status/stingray at the moment (i used this pedal as an always on preamp), so iv been using it as a valve fuzz/distortion, but i dont really need it for that either, and at the moment im a little too short on money to have something worth £140 that i dont use that much
21. i talked about it in the review its a lower gain sound than the EH, sounds far better than the eh imo, bottom end is very well defined, and its not as sparkly as the eh is, which is definatly a plus from me. the valve just has more character and every note rings crystal clear basically the best way i can describe the difference is that the EH just sounds 'cheap' next to the mullard. turning up the gain it goes into a valve distortion quite nicely, thats how im currently using it now, but i dont really need that sound, hence the sale
22. get over to the introductions forum and make a new thread tellin us a bit about you and what you play iv been playing 2 years, and just in case you didn't realise it was me who linked you to here
23. is there any chance of bass sound samples of the android?
24. seems interesting, but i think il pass
