1. dont worry about it mate, im more than used to be ridiculed for everything i do on this forum can this be dropped now, no more posts for or against me, this is a sale thread any problems with me or the bass owner, pm us.
2.
And now we've heard both sides of the argument we can draw some better conclusions. You can see on the eBay listing that there is no mention of 'custom' at all, nor are there any images of the decal. It appears thebuyer has made assumptions upon this and posted on here with these assumptions. So on these facts, the buyer did not buy it on the grounds that it was a custom shop bass, and thus no deceit has taken place in my eyes. Of course I cannot see any personal emails or eBay messages between the 2 of them .
thankyou so can the ridiculous idea of me being a con artist and a twat now be dropped, and let this bass sell Alistair, my advice is you put it on ebay for £650, it will sell.
3. this thread saddens and annoys me as i have said in my emails to the OP, this bass was sold with this ebay listing: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...O:IT&ih=011 read it all, all the people who are once again having a go at me. I mention ABSOLUTLY NOWHERE THAT THIS IS OR EVER WAS A CUSTOM SHOP PRECISION BASS. the decal on the headstock was on it when i recieved it from Mike off this forum, ask him yourself. I advertised the bass on ebay as you all know to get the right amount of cash for it, i was very short on money and needed the extra cash (yes im a student, and yes i have a part time job). I understood why people felt angry with me asking for more on the forum and expected me to give it cheap, but i couldnt do that, and anyone that says they havnt bought to sell for a profit elsewere is a liar. the bass is worth the money it sold for, as my ebay listing breaks down. there is even a thread on it in the ebay links forum, in which people also agree with that sentiment. Im sorry, iv done nothing wrong, and franklly im gettin so tired of being treated the way i am on this forum
4. the boss odb-3 is a brilliant pedal
5. f***, just sold on ebay, dunno whether to or anyways, SOLD
6. bump could be open to trades, with cash from you might actually be able to keep this now, but still for sale until its definate
7.
More Memory Man love:
brilliant looking board mate
8. strange post, but stupidly cheap price, very interestin
9. let the cort sale battle commence!
10. Special interest pedal really with it being made famous by Gilmour, so i stuck it straight on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=320270221477 £160 shipped on this forum, what i paid for it and i want all my money back. Gutted that im having to sell this, but never mind ay.
11. on ebay, £90 shipped i will do it for £80 shipped here, but i imagine it may go quick on ebay cheers
12.
Would you really swap if it was a five string? Bloody Hell Kev, when I was your age I had an Ibanez Blazer, you're very lucky to have such a great bass. What does LE mean?
would have seriously considered it, somethin really lures me to this bass 2001 limited edition, it has a pre 2007 blue dawn sparkle finish (as in not the ones with the horrible 2007 fret inlay), which im told is pretty desired and pretty hard to come about, i love it. all the buying and selling iv done on ebay over the past couple years have raised the money to afford such a bass
13. i'm no expert, but that seems an awful lot of money for a tokai, isn't it?? nice bass though
14.
Then what, you would buy it? I thought you were a poor student.
..who owns a LE stingray 5 worth the askin price good luck with sale man
15. this is now definitly for sale, £82 shipped, will go on ebay at a higher price in few days if it doesnt sell here im actually struggling to fine ANYONE who sells this in the UK, a new one from US would cost about $220 + shipping + customs and would be in excess of $260/£130, so £82 for as new condition seems very fair
16. if that had a 5th string...
17. just testing the water, see if anyone fancies this heres a link to info and (guitar) sound samples: http://www.stevesmusiccenter.com/JacquesTrinity.html not too easy to get one of these, not too many stockists around its a BRILLIANT pedal, works fantastic for bass, has one of the biggest bottoms iv heard in an envelope filter equally good in all 3 modes, the wah mode in particular i have enjoyed, once your used to not havin a treadle, the space you save on your board and the ease of slightly pressing it is fantastic! selling due to terrible financial wastage, my big muff could be for sale next too anyways im after £80 + shipping i reckon, pedal is completly as new with box and manual cheers
18. the 99p start sub went for £300 odd, pretty good for an auction price
19. just to explain why that is the best combo: you always want the tuner first in line so that you get the most acurate reading without any buffered bypasses or anything to interefere (id actually have the tuner in a seperate loop, but thats just me). Compressors work equally good before or after distortions, i always switch between which i prefer! compressors after distortion can be great for keepin it from goin out of control too easily, but can make them more noisy. compressors before will even out playing dynamics and so should make the distortion equally even, however this may hinder playing if you want to dig in hard and drive the pedal more.
20. id say move this to the effects forum, but theres already a trillion threads about it there
21. id choose the sadowsky, but im not you, you need to try them both out to warrant spendin that kind of money
22. http://suzanneshandpaintedguitars.com/commissions.aspx no idea who she is or whether they do a good job or not, but seems very cheap and doesnt look that shoddy
