2.
What? And nobody will buy it for £450, but the reserve could be reasonable. And what's wrong with SUBs anyway?
i mean the pickguard is like a stingray's only, well, weird shaped sub's are great basses, i had one for over a year, stil my longest owned bass, its just the lack of body contouring, hence my slab of wood comment, made it a little uncomfortable for the forearm, n the painted neck sometimes felt a bit sticky, but its a great bass, certainly better than most basses for around £350

well, Mullard tube came today, safe to say i wont be using the EH again. As soon as a i put it in and switched it on, the difference was massive, the eh just sound brittle next to it. The mullard wasnt nos, but from the looks/sound of it it hasnt been used much. its the one with the shield logo with british made printed on it, bit worn off by can make it out. My particular valve is lower gain than the eh, which benefits me if anything, sounds fantastic, so much more character than the eh, more transparent and warmer (better bottom end and less highs) . id still like to experiment with more valves, but i cant see anything beatin the mullard.
5. ouch lol got the valve through the post this morning btw, in the proces of putting it through its paces now, sounds dynamite, doesnt look that used, and sounds immense, il never be using the eh valve again

12. any reason your upgrading to the bass with the slightly warped pickguard and £450 is more than a bit expensive for the slab of wood the sub bass essentially is specially for the passive one, is that a mirror pickguard??
13. still love the look of that bass, cant beat a dark wood warwick like that, and the shape is just funky as, pity i have nowt to trade or a spare £1050 note hanging about... good luck with it
14. behringer v amp has mixed review, general consent is that its great value for money, but you get what you pay for, apparantly notes sustain poorly on some settings and do that awful glitchy digital thing, iv never played through one so i cant confirm this, but iv read several reviews that do an auto-wah is an effect that mimics the rocking of a wah pedal back n forth. the speed and depth of which can be set. personally i prefer an envelope filter, or an actual wah pedal
