i think the guy might just be lazy, i dont think he is tryin to con anyone, he has good feedback, and offers local pickup and paypal payment, i think he's just a bad seller

why dont you give it a bash yourself?? changing pickups is pretty easy, minimal soldering really

if i were you, and this is just what id do, i would keep a multi effect for flanger/chorus/phaser/delay/reverb/envelope filter/compressor (my zoom b2.1u does that great, and iv had a lot of individual effect versions) and buy a good valve pedal for crunch and overdrive, a good synth and a wah pedal my choices: i would go for zoom b2.1u, a DHA pedal of some sort (im sure Dave will be happy to help you choose a model), an akai deep impact or the new bass microsynth, depending on your budget, and a ebs wah one or bass crybaby, again budget depending

im not a fan of the ashdown envelope filter at all, but then again i dont like any of the ashdown pedals, so you might love it!

b2 synths are weird in a good way if you play real slow, speed up at all though and it just laughs at you basically

a tiny touch of reverb you will like

the bass synth wah isnt [i]that[/i] bad, it will certainly give you better synth than the v amp and, imo, the boss

yess iv been lookin at these basses, let me know what they are like when you get to yours! iv always fancied an xpression xp15.5 mahogany and walnut

if money is no object hunt down the mutron octave divider, best octaver bar none imo
