2. tbh i thought the decals were the worst part of the bass, largely because they wern't applied brilliantly id be interested to know whether it was mike who added them or someone before him
3. Kev

MM 5 string Sub

somewhere between 300 and 400 i think anythin less than 300 is a steal. anything more isnt worth it.
4. good price that i reckon, fo sho
5. does it work with bass????
6.
Nope & Nope
good stuff
7. i like that, very much up my street, how does it all sound?? bass microsynth any good??
8. bought one of these from my local crap converters couple of days ago for £50, seemed like a good deal, got it home to discover the neck was warped and the pickups were f***ed, so i took it back and shockingly they actaully gave me a refund. just out of interest, would it have been worth sorting the neck out and replacing the pickups? was £50 a good price. it looked 80's like, with the big ass brass bridge n string tree, was quite nicely mojo'd. neck felt great apart from the whole warped thing. sunburst in colour with matching headstock
9. at least the con artist part
10. dont worry about it mate, im more than used to be ridiculed for everything i do on this forum can this be dropped now, no more posts for or against me, this is a sale thread any problems with me or the bass owner, pm us.
11.
And now we've heard both sides of the argument we can draw some better conclusions. You can see on the eBay listing that there is no mention of 'custom' at all, nor are there any images of the decal. It appears thebuyer has made assumptions upon this and posted on here with these assumptions. So on these facts, the buyer did not buy it on the grounds that it was a custom shop bass, and thus no deceit has taken place in my eyes. Of course I cannot see any personal emails or eBay messages between the 2 of them .
thankyou so can the ridiculous idea of me being a con artist and a twat now be dropped, and let this bass sell Alistair, my advice is you put it on ebay for £650, it will sell.
12. this thread saddens and annoys me as i have said in my emails to the OP, this bass was sold with this ebay listing: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...O:IT&ih=011 read it all, all the people who are once again having a go at me. I mention ABSOLUTLY NOWHERE THAT THIS IS OR EVER WAS A CUSTOM SHOP PRECISION BASS. the decal on the headstock was on it when i recieved it from Mike off this forum, ask him yourself. I advertised the bass on ebay as you all know to get the right amount of cash for it, i was very short on money and needed the extra cash (yes im a student, and yes i have a part time job). I understood why people felt angry with me asking for more on the forum and expected me to give it cheap, but i couldnt do that, and anyone that says they havnt bought to sell for a profit elsewere is a liar. the bass is worth the money it sold for, as my ebay listing breaks down. there is even a thread on it in the ebay links forum, in which people also agree with that sentiment. Im sorry, iv done nothing wrong, and franklly im gettin so tired of being treated the way i am on this forum

Special interest pedal really with it being made famous by Gilmour, so i stuck it straight on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=320270221477 £160 shipped on this forum, what i paid for it and i want all my money back. Gutted that im having to sell this, but never mind ay.

22.
Would you really swap if it was a five string? Bloody Hell Kev, when I was your age I had an Ibanez Blazer, you're very lucky to have such a great bass. What does LE mean?
would have seriously considered it, somethin really lures me to this bass 2001 limited edition, it has a pre 2007 blue dawn sparkle finish (as in not the ones with the horrible 2007 fret inlay), which im told is pretty desired and pretty hard to come about, i love it. all the buying and selling iv done on ebay over the past couple years have raised the money to afford such a bass
23. i'm no expert, but that seems an awful lot of money for a tokai, isn't it?? nice bass though
24.
Then what, you would buy it? I thought you were a poor student.
..who owns a LE stingray 5 worth the askin price good luck with sale man
