1. ch-1 is still in production, and isnt rare or expensive ya your thinking of the old school chorus
2.
tried my behringer compressor sustainer side by side with my guitarists modded boss version, and to be honest the behringer sounded much cleaner. theres really not much in it imo apart from the price and at £20 for the behringer you cant really go wrong, yeah you can go and spend wads but for your first pedals they are a steal.
+10000 the behringer compressor is one behringer effect that IMO beats the Boss, but interesting that you think it beats the modded version too, iv never tried the modded, just stock
3. i emailed him, linkin him to this thread, i kinda hope he is a con artist, coz if not he might have been conned himself
4. never tried a ds-1 or the phasers, but i agree the other pedals you said are indeed great
5. +1 for mxr, aint tried an mxr pedal yet that i havnt been impressed by, cant say the same for boss, although i will say that generally i think mxr pedals are a little on the expensive side
6. i want this i want this i want this, im gunna have to try n think of a way of raising that cash, not looking good though
7. obviouly boss's build quality is greater, there is no arguement there about half of behringers effects are pretty much as good as the boss equivilant, and the rest aint as good all imo of course

Bass Synth...
well considering he used a sovtek big muff and a oc-2 on it i'm pretty sure it should do ;p i got pretty close with my octoplus and big muff
absolute bollocks im afraid. he did nothing of the sort. it was done with a human gear animato and deep impact and/or a Roland synth i cant think of the name at the moment.
9.
Is there sposed to be a pic there Ant? Kubickiboy - I would make another layer ontop of your PSU and where the foam is, there's no need for another board! I would have bottom feeder, ODB-3, BM. I can't see the point in the DS-1, I remember it being very similar to the ODB-3 but without the EQ control? Maybe not.
there is? nice board mate
10. nah, proper industrial velcro is fine and used by the majority of heavy gigging bassists on this board, we aint talking the kinda velcro you do up ya shoes with here with proper velcro you can pick up the entire board by just one pedal and it wont move! (see one of the diago videos for example) drilling holes is extra effort and devalues pedals, so itd be best to avoid it! your prices take that into account though, so its all good always fancied a wobo, might have to get back to you...
11. i managed to get the switch off and pins out and attempted to wire as you said, but not a sign of a signal, led doesnt even light up, iv f***ed up part of the trace on the board in the process. ah well, thats a tenner il never see again i guess! you live and learn, cheers for help anyways guys
12. first one looks good, but says its designed for soft metal, and these bastard pins aint soft iv ended up hacking away at the switch to try n get it ooff, to no avail
13. seems simple enough, but iv no idea what im gunna use thats thin and sharp enough to get inbetween the gap to cut the pins
14. what about the Dod octoplus?
15.
Readymade by RHCP (Stadium Arcadium disc 2) A real finger workout for both left and right hands
pity the song is pants RHCP pre 94 ftw
16. you had to put THAT pedal in the picture you thinkin of sellin these??
17. bought his broke bass xciter, not had much luck fixin it yet, but it was a sound transaction
18. just learnt propane nightmares by Pendulum this mornin, easy but fun bassline
19. what you suggeted would suit me fine, if need be id bypass it with a spare looper i have, let me know how to do it
20. have done and have tried the end pins on both sides of the switch appear to be soldered on both sides identically whilst the middle pins are only soldered on the back, with no trace on the other side, so im pretty damn sure that the end pins have been soldered on both sides for the extra security, no amount of sucking will suck that solder through hopefully aphex will get in touch, you would have think this would be sorted by now with so many complaints about the switch!
