2. anyone here think £20 is a decent price for a used but tested 'good' mullard ax7 valve?? i need to decide fast as im sure someone else will buy soon if i dont!
3. crazy as it is, my zoom b2.1u tunes down to A, pretty accuratly too!
4. i dont understand, there must be a cable going from the brick to the pedal ye? attached the end of that cable into the daisy chain instead of the pedal, and voila, you have 4 extra power points
5. from that it seems that spector, from my view and playing style, is just ' better' than warwick! interesting stuff
6. iv been offered one for £20, any good?????
7. the daisy chain would work fine with those pedals, not much current draw goin on so one 9v output should power a few pedals with a chain
8. thats just too low an amount for a stingray, just pay the extra £50 you'll still be gettin a bargain
9. am i being blonde, or is an easy solution for this just sticking a daisy chain into one of the 9v outputs??
10. get it in the gear porn section, that looks gorgeous
11. welcome mate, seems like you'll be a good guy to have around enjoy
12. have the sound of a fretted bass, the growl and twang against the frets on heavy lines, just the general sound of frets??
13. seems like you have a great selection of musicmans there, i though perhaps your name reffered to them, but you 'only' have 9
14. ye that seems a cool price, about what i sold mine for
15.
Keep it fretless, put the effort in and you'll love it! I've had my fretless about a year and a half now, using it for 3 of the 6 bands I'm playing in. It's amazing, does everything a fretted bass can do and is so much more expressive. Go on, give it another chance
have to disagree there, fretless and fretted basses are often used for completly different types of bassline, one can do plenty what the other cant and visa versa
16.
I think gold hardware looks pretty nice on the right bass, EG that one. I've always thought black hardware looked pretty cheap and tacky tbh. I think chrome is pretty timeless though, nobody ever complains about chrome. Also +1 on the 90's necks looking amazing, there's some AMAZING birdseye/flame going on with those like you wouldn't believe!
how so?? gold seems to be used alot on cheaper basses to try n make it look classy, which for me does the absolute opposite, whereas black is less common on cheaper basses, and when used on a black bass or bass with black elements on, it looks absolute sterling. gold looks okay on gold basses, but you dont see many of those, and i think otherwise it just looks a bit tacky. but ye iv never heard anyone describe black as cheap and tacky before...i guess you think your toby pro is tacky then?? coz i think it looks class on your bass all in our opinions anyways
17. oh my lord that is STUNNING
18. if you fretted it itl be bloody awesome
19. i like the case though
20. gold hardware is never classy imo, like never, always looks cheap, if a chav ever played bass.... black hardware is always gunna look more classy and stylish the 12th fret thing again, imo, looks so sh*te and cheap, im so glad that my blue dawn is a 2001 bass, and not the 2007 with such a marking on 12th fret

odb-3 can get a great low overdrive sound, im using mine for a gritty distortion, bit less gain than Flea uses for around the world n such thought about a DHA?
22. ye, but he said it was better DEsPITE it being older, as in older is bad, which obviously as u said it isnt, which confused me
23.
I have had around 20+ effect and multieffect units with chorus including the boss CEB2 and the CEB3 and in my opinion the CEB2 (brown) was the best of them all, despite it being older than the CEB3 (blue).
huh??
24. hmm interesting, might have to experiment with that
