  1. ye id advise to definatly not sell this you may have the bass you want, but you'll lose a lot of money from it when it comes to selling them in the future
  2. na no batteries, dont even know what voltage it internally runs at anyways, but iv included the transformer in the sale anyways so powering up is no problem and my playin in that soundclip will put people off i think!

  6. as the title says my review of the pedal, as posted in the effects reviews forum: " Bixonic Expandora 2000R. rrp £115 This pedal i bought on a total whim after its shiny little case caught my eye. Its the reissue of the legendary pedal used by all the old skool guitarists. the reissue particularly interested me as it had a bass/guitar switch, which the original did not. so it works very well as a bass distortion. Ease of Use : 8 Okay the pedal has the usual 3 fuzz knobs: Volume, Filter (tone) and gain. These ar self explanatory, the filter just cuts highs. Its the 2 switches above the knobs which make things interesting. the pedal is classed as having 3 different modes: crunch, overdrive, distortion and 'forbidden zone'. it takes a bit of getting used to, so i give it an 8 Sound Quality and Features : 9 the crunch setting is when the two switches are up. this gives a beautiful valve tone, cliche i know but it really can sound sweet, and with the bass switch, NO low end loss. The overdrive mode is when the left switch is down and right is up. This is exactly how it sounds, and overdrive, more gain than the crunch, but still pretty reserved. The next mode distortion is selected by settin the right switch down and the left back up again. this again is just more gain than the overdrive, however with the gain turned right up, its breaking into out of control territory. which is where the last mode comes in, the forbidden zone, which is both switches down. this is insanaly high gain fuzz, which is crazy good! great features, one of the best units iv ever used, and trust me iv tried plenty! it doesn't quite get that muff fuzz tone that i love, so for that reason its a 9. Build quality: 10 Bulit like a little brick, a shiny circular brick smile.gif ran off 9vdc, or a battery. cant see it breaking anytime soon. Overall: 9 Overall, a great multi stage distortion pedal, certainly a great one for bass, and would certainly recommend it!" need i say more you'v seen pics around on the forum, however i attached another picture too pretty much mint, few scratches on bottom but knowone sees them £80 shipped selling my mutron in the picture too cheers
  7. that really is a beautiful 5, probably the best iv seen

  12. think you might have popped this in the wrong forum matey
  13. i think i may well sell this now decided that it is too much for me to keep £325 picked up from bristol, or £335 shipped (together with the transformer they weigh nearly 6kgs) id rather avoid paypal for this kind of money, bank transfer is the best.quickest way. if not, then splitting the fees could be an option

  16. the body is gorgeous, but those inlays kill the look for me
  17. as much as its a lovely bass, and as much as it may be worth that price, i don't think you'll never get that on here, not with the current warwick market being the way it is
  18. is the behringer reverb any good?? seems like you have more than enough for a pop band though
  19. never felt the need for straplocks itd take some serious effort as far as i can see for the strap to come off, maybe its just my straps bein tight i dunno, but i bought a dunlop set once to see what the fuss was about, and i hated them, if anything felt alot less safe to me for some reason, dont like that button seems very easily repressed, so i took them off and sold them
