wait on the deep impact, chunk systems are bringing out their bass synth soon, and its set to be better than the deep impact

iv been sing 40-100 trace elliots on my precision, sound brilliant

any normal regulated 9v power supply will do it fine, 300ma or over

my arion stereo flanger is the best iv tried of its type, and it cost me £15 okay iv only tried the gt6b's, the old skool dod and 2 of the boss ones (the bass version and the current one), but i cant imagine id find a more flexible flanger that sounds as good

could do that i guess, i might look into it, still dont like the idea of riskin the finish of the bass mikeh, did you mean the p bass cover wont fit over the badassII, but the jazz would?

all the other ashdown pedals have really put me off looking at them, the filter is just terrible, and id realy need to try one before buying, any stockists in bristol??

i just hate the idea of drilling holes in my precious bass! is there any strange inventive way i could fix it to the badass bridge??

id love to fit a nice chrome ashtray cover to my p bass, but i have a couple of questions: 1. would one fit over my badass II bridge? the bridge is much larger than the standard fender bridge 2. is there any, any way of fitting it without screwing ruddy big holes into my bass?? the answer of 'no' will no doubt be used for at least one of the questions, but just though id ask

its a great bass beautiful to play, and is a real looker! through neck is gorgeous on my 6, and iv set it up real nice! thinking of upgrading the electronics though, sound isnt bright enough for me! endless sustain though with string thru body. careful though as some grinds sound fantastic, some are rubbish, cosmetically too, all the wonders of a hand bulit bass, certainly try the actuall bass before buying it

not sure if this is the right place or not, but i figured it would be viewed more here than in the repair section, so here goes i wanna upgrade my peavey grind 6. the bass is gorgoeus, to look at and to play, but the tone leaves a bit to be desired, and sounds definitavly dull compared to my fender. any ideas what should be done to it to make it sound brighter, punchier, and generally more active sounding without nescesarrily ( spelling) being active?? should i replace pickups or put a active preamp in?? suggestions?

....and its stopped, after changing all the strings, not just the e how bloody perculiar :S

change the string, if that dont work, bang it down to a luthier if you dont want to mess with the truss rod yourself
