The distortion on the M-80 is completely separate from the EQ thats why if you turn the gain all the way down you can use it as a 2 channel preamp as the dist channel with the gain off is scooped and really nice for slap.
what do you mean by that, the eq shapes the sound of the distortion, and shapes the sound of the clean effect if the colour switch is on if the colour switch is on, and the gain is set to zero, both channels sound identical, providing the volume levels are the same
 3. providing its 31 kilos or less, theyl ship it 29 quid, but i think it may well be heavier, since the current 410 cab weighs 27kg, and this is the older combo..
 4. how heavey is it, is there no courier that would deliver it to bristol?? i really like the look of it, jus seen it on ebay and thought it looked familiar, but i cant afford much more than £200...
 5. perfect condition, great cable, usual gold connectors with the little spring things to keep the jack in place, great cable. £30 new... £15 shipped

 9.
why not go for a fender similar to the squier? you're less likely to regret it if its a better bass. definatly dont keep it if you cant get along with it.
why? he's happy with the squier's sound and feel, so why spend extra money when its not necessary?
